"...says no jobs leaving NY"

And he's bragging because 2,000 jobs are being created in Alabama instead of NY?

Maybe the will have a factory outlet. I would love to drive an hour north for a good deal. They will find the state a very hospitable home.

Both upstate NYS and Calif. were awesome in the 50's and 60's.

Now? Not so much.

Did Cuomo just say, “If you like your gun factory, you can keep your gun factory.”?

The only reason there are jobs in NY is because companies are STUCK HERE. They are here because they HAVE to be, not because they WANT to be. Not a ringing endorsement of Il Douche Cuomo.

No jobs lost?

It looks like 2,000 new jobs that would have been created in New York are lost.

I wonder WHY they are not locating that plant in NY?? Hmmm.

Nobody in their right mind would move manufacturing and their corporate headquarters simultaneously. But once the Alabama plant is set and up and running, headquarters will quickly follow. There is no need to stay in NY.

None.

Bye, Bye New York.

One suspects that Mister Azzopardi is lying the kinds of lies that emerge from a committee of Democrats whose charge was to "tell them something that will take the heat of Mister Cuomo."

BTW, there are such things as "multiplier effects"; and, when 2,000 jobs go south (literally, ha ha) the economic impacts will cost even more jobs and create more crime and poverty.
