Not true, everything comes down to getting out your vote.

Pray America wakes up

No mention in article about Dwayne Stovall running against Cornyn. Sessions refused to debate Pierson.

FYI to Freepers in Kaufman County:

Early voting will ONLY use the electronic machines. You will NOT have choice of paper or electronic during early voting.

On Primary Day, March 4th, ONLY PAPER ballots will be used. If you can, please vote on March 4th - paper ballots leave a paper trail!

Say thank you to our GOPe Republicans.

*Stovall, the TEA Party’s chosen Candidate to replace Cornyn, was never mentioned in the article;

This was the first thing that jumped out at me.

Cruz is strongly supporting Ken Paxton for AG.

http://www.redstate.com/2014/02/18/ken-paxton-for-texas-attorney-general/

I wonder who Paxton is supporting for Senator?

Cornyn is below fifty percent....he is in big trouble...in Texas if you don’t get 51% there is a run off.....that’s how we got Cruz!!!

manipulation of the voting process which everyone suspects is manipulation of the electronic data.

A couple months ago there was a thread where the elections clerk had QUERYING abilities against the votes cast so far.

As much as I’m chomping at the bit to vote in 30 minutes, I also wonder if it isn’t safer to vote on March 4.

So, what’s this idiot going to say when Cornyn is forced into a runoff?

Sounds like Juan Williams got his message across and those who oppose the Tea Party are trying to influence Texas voters to shy away. Tea Party must be pretty close to kicking some butt there in Texas and both parties are getting worried.

There are some classic tactics in this article.

Both veteran lawmakers have run strong campaigns, raised huge sums of money

As if money=support, when it can come from only a few and still be substantial

and have given conservatives few reasons to reject them

Then why are so many running against Coryn?

Cornyn’s and Sessions’s challengers have articulated few credible reasons to oust them and haven’t raised enough money to even mount serious campaigns.

Repetition of previous theme...(join up with the big money guy cause he's going to be the winner! tactic)

“Everyone knows Stockman is a crazy person and that's why none of the national conservative groups are supporting him,” said one national conservative strategist.

Unattributed Alinsky-style comment. who is this "everyone"?

The rest reads like an attack ad. Who writes this stuff?

Just exactly how does one become a
“Tea Party Candidate”?

Do you register somewhere?
Do you get an endoresement from someone?

Or does the media assign the term to a person to set up a strawman?

To the best of my knowledge, Stockman is nothing to get excited about. Freepers favor Stockman because he’s NOT a deep-blue liberal-enabling RINO like Cornyn.

Thanks for the link to this high information article.

I thought the following two quotes by Erickson high-lighted why Conservative TEXANS should make their votes count in this Primary Election:

1.) “ - - - As all of us know, we may not live in Texas, but Texas affects us and we all probably secretly or not so secretly want to live there. - - - “

2. ) “ - - - - It’s imperative that Texas have strong conservative leadership – because as Texas goes, so goes America. - - - “

There’s a diarist at RedState who does some really good elections analysis but haven’t seen anything from him or her lately... handle is Gawker.

Cameron Diaz looks very different with short, dark hair!

Maybe the glasses make her look so nearly unrecognizable?

I spoke with Paxton just about a month ago face to face. He appears to be genuine and a guy that will stand up for conservative values. Ted Cruz was with him at the time and his support for him appears to be genuine too.

Just ran past three largest polling places and there were NO signs for any senate hopefuls including Cornyn. Odd.

same thing will happen in South Carolina and Lindsey Graham will be reelected if no big name candidates are in the primary race.
