False headline. Here’s a change Rand Paul secured with Mitch McConnell’s help: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3124011/posts

We need to remember that FR is infested with the “We Walk on Water” cult.

Amnesty is the lead weight that makes walking on water pretty difficult, and Runt Paul is for it.

"Paul endorsing Chinless was a rookie mistake, and may very well haunt him. An unforced error."

Yup, I like Paul but long ago I posted his support of Mitch will come back to bite him in the butt. Also he tends to go wobbly in illegal immigration from time to time. Amnesty is a deal breaker for me. lots of posters here falsely claim he supports amnesty, as best I can tell he doesn't, but he is willing to tackle the issue provided the border is secured before anything else is looked at. Basically fit the border first (enforce existing laws) then we can talk. I really do not see conservatives getting anything better then that given the conditions of modern politics in the USA today.

Paul is certainly not written out of my book yet, but we’ll have to see some sharpening of his game before he’s ready for prime-time.

That’s about as good a summation I’ve seen on the subject of the “Walk on Water” crowd. There is only one person in this country who agrees with me 100% about everything, and I’m not running for anything.

Look up non sequitur and mixed metaphors.
