and has three (3) Purple Hearts.
The fact that these honors were self-awarded is unimportant. His clandestine swim up the Mekong to track down NAZI spies on Christmas Eve at the orders of soon-to-be President Nixon shows an uncanny ability to deal with even those on the politically opposite side of the philosophical spectrum and will live forevermore in the military annals of our great nation, especially if he has anything to say about it. I am as proud of this Irish-American hero as I would be proud of Elizabeth Warren if I were a Native American. (Or if he were actually Irish, or she an Indian, anyway)
