Raise the import tariffs and lower the income tax by an equal amount. That will:
- put Americans back to work,
- let Americans keep more of their own money,
- restore American industry,
- make us less dependent on foreign countries,
- increase federal government revenues because more people will be working and paying taxes,
- reduce federal outlays on social programs,
- reduce government size by reducing social programs,
- increase wages through greater demand for workers,
- make us better able to defend ourselves in the event of a world war,
- Improve the profitability of most businesses, as more money will be spent at home in America.

The population (not counting illegal aliens) of Obama’s Workers Paradise is currently around 317,000,000 and of that number, 100,000,000 are unemployed.
Karl Marx would be so proud.

Blame Obama, my arse. Regardless of who is President our exported jobs have to return home or there will be depression. Green jobs and tax cuts are just Boob Bait for the Bubbas. Everything you buy is made with jobs elsewhere. End trade deficits. Restore America.

Raise the import tariffs and lower the income tax by an equal amount. Raising import tariffs always results in trade wars, which never do either side any good. All it does is tax the productive, industrious class on both sides, and inflates the coffers of their non-productive governments.
Better to lower capital gains taxes, which spurs business and industry to locate their operations here. That results in more jobs, more income, and an enlarged tax base.
Lowering individual and business taxes also spurs the economy.

We’re already in a trade war, we just aren’t fighting back.
Our exports to China are 1/4 of our imports from China. So how bad can a trade war really hurt us.
The stores are full of Chinese made goods and Americans are sitting idle. And there are still 200 million chinese working in the fields for less than $1.50 a day who are more than willing to come into a manufacturing job and put more Americans out of work.

Were already in a trade war, we just arent fighting back. Our exports to China are 1/4 of our imports from China. So how bad can a trade war really hurt us. Raising tariffs on imported Chinese goods won't hurt them. They'll just raise the tariffs on exported American goods to their country, which puts you back at square one.
If you want jobs and industry to come home from China, you have to make doing business in America more attractive to investors and manufacturers. You do that by lowering the government imposed cost of doing business here, i.e., taxes and regulations.
That's the workable, conservative solution.
