We're finally nearing the goal for this quarter. We're not quite there yet. Please keep it coming in folks, so we can wrap this baby up.
Your loyal support keeps FR alive and is greatly appreciated!!
Thank you so much for your generous support of Free Republic. All of us love coming to Free Republic every day, so please know that EVERY Donation counts, no matter the amount! EVERY Donation is truly and greatly appreciated!
$5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more, EVERY Donation helps to Keep FR Alive!
Our New Monthly Donor count is now at 46, which includes 4 New $1-a-Day Donors! We have 4 wonderful, fabulous, awesome and very generous FReeper Sponsors, (Tijeras_Slim, upchuck, somebody & OwenKellogg) who have either already kicked-in $10.00 for EVERY New Monthly Donor, or will do so, as you all sign up.
Both Owen Kellogg and Tijeras-Slim have just signed up to Sponsor another Round each, which means that we have New Monthly Donor Sponsors through 7 Rounds!!! PLEASE Consider Donating Monthly, if you possibly and reliably can!!!
We also have 153 Donations of $100.00 or more, as per our 300 Club and I-be-TC's original Challenge!
At Free Republic we are not alone in our support for each other in our efforts to preserve Life, Liberty and our Pursuit of Happiness. We fight to keep our country morally, militarily and economically strong for the next generations to come. Without that strength we will have lost our freedoms.
Freedom is only one generation away from extinction and that extinction is not going to happen on our watch. Its the least we can do for those that have given so much to preserve it for us.
Its our turn to carry the load, to preserve that freedom for our children and their children.
Please click the secure server link above or donate by mail to: Free Republic - PO Box 9771 - Fresno, CA 93794
Thank you all very much!!
God bless.

I remember learning Illustrator and Photoshop with a manual.....
I simply could not understand anything as written in the illustrator manual...and didnt HAVE a manual for photoshop.
Eventually I bought a peachpit press...manual for illustrator and it seemed as though it was targeting people whos thought processes were similar to mine...impatient...and mildy dyslectic...
I have discovered a couple of issues with html code...that the adobe tech people had no idea of...at the time...
there is a spacing issue that has nothing to do with visible code...and is based on spacing of the text IN the code....
a blank character space...acts...as an intended space in the code...when laying images side by side in some circumstances.
i posted my CODE on the adobe help forum..and ended up accidently making this “discovery” by myself

nope..
I recognize the code for space...but this instance I mentioned there was no visible code...in the code veiw which could have accounted for a space
ot was simply spaces between these guys..><
if the brackets had no character space between them...they worked...but one character space...although not included as code..acted as code
<><> worked,...while any space between opening and closing brackets...wont<> <>
