WASHINGTON — The Air Force is “disappointed” in the airman who appeared in a photo that is being circulated of her posing with her tongue in the mouth of the prisoner of war depicted on the iconic black-and-white POW/MIA emblem.
“We do not yet have all the details behind the photo, but it certainly is a concern; it’s a concern any time someone shows disrespect for prisoners of war and those missing in action,” Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James Cody said in a statement. “They deserve our utmost respect and we must always remember their sacrifice and the legacy they’ve left for us as men and women serving our nation.

She says she was a young Airman who did not care. Is the Air Force in the habit of three striping Airmen who don't care? I think she is not the only one that made a mistake, whoever was doing the promoting is a screw up too!
I saw the picture, is that really worth punishment? Isn’t the US POW a positive image, and she is kissing him?
Maybe they are upset the kiss is heterosexual. I know she’s in uniform, but this country has become childish about criticizing every little thing a person does or says.
She’ll be claiming racism.

Few Americans serve in the armed forces. Less than 2%. Those of us that do, have high standards. This so called airman does not belong in our ranks.
Who ever took this picture should face the music as well.
The photograph shows both a lack of respect for our fellow service members who have sacrificed so much for this nation, lack of awareness of how classless her actions were and a lack of respect for herself as well.
Were I to witness one of my soldiers doing this I would gladly go before my chain of command to recover my boot from their ass !
