OK. I will be the first to go on record with the truth about our planet’s temperature. It’s tepid. It’s not hot. It’s not cold. It’s tepid. Where’s my Nobel Prize and check?
Yes, many people deny that the very cold winter here is caused by global warming.
In the mid to late 70s,everyone said we were in an ice age period.that by the year 2000 all of the northern united states would be covered by ice.Looking at the last few weeks,,They werent far aff lol.Of course science now claims warming not cooling,but what differance does it make now?
As of this writing, there is no Scientifically proven, laboratory tested, peer-reviewed, published article on any known Cause and Effect between the amount of CO2 and change in air temperature.
In the field, for example, the Global ppm of CO2 has increased in the last 17 years, but the Global air temperature has not changed, or has gotten colder depending on the site being measured.
Last year the Arctic Ocean Ice Cap grew in area and thickness with Global CO2 at its highest level, providing yet another addition to the very long list of field test failures to the proponents of the pop-culture, junk science speculation called “Global Warming.”
CO2 is essential for plants to obtain Carbon, and thus CO2 is an environmentally friendly Green House Gas right along with the most abundant Green House Gas, Water Vapor.
BTW, Water Vapor abundance in the atmosphere is 25,000 ppmillion, and CO2 is 400 ppmillion, +/-, adjusted for volcanic and seasonal variation.
Fear-mongering, Spendaholic Politicians can fool some of the real Scientists some of the time, but they have convincingly proven that they can fool all of the “junk scientists” all of the time.
Since abundant CO2 is essential for Green Plants to grow by the process of Photosynthesis, we FReepers are duty bound to break down the Spendaholic Politician’s Barrycades that un-Scientifically discourage the increased generation of life-giving CO2.
Let us as FReepers storm the Anti-Green Energy, “Phony CO2 Barrycades” of the Spendaholic Politicians with the following chants and street signs:
“Support Green House Gas Increases:
CO2 means more plant food for you;
Corn and CO2 go together like Wealth and Work;
Carbon is a Plant’s Best Friend;
If you like to hug trees, then produce more CO2;
Make more CO2, not more Taxes;
Bring back our life-giving Coal fired plants:
Support the Green Energy Revolution!”
Climate Warning/Change/Cooling is the Liberals’ intelligence crutch.
All I know is what I observe.
In southern Pennsylvania, in what the National Weather Service calls a “normally colder valley” I see grass being displaced by moss and lichen on the forest floor.
I see aspen trees spreading.
And after the big ice storm of February 5 I watched a flock of acrtic gulls (absolutely snow white, gorgeous against a clear blue sky) circling overhead.
My climate is shifting from temperate to taiga.
My personal belief is that all climates are dynamic and undergoing constant, albeit normally imperceptable change—and that human impact on such is a figment of our collective (word choice deliberate) imagination.
It’s a living planet. It’s gone through several Ice Ages, and several Tropical Ages. Scientist need to get a clue.

Penn and Teller’s BS (the show name is the cussword) has a great episode on global warming. The founder of the Weather Channel has a graph of CO2 over time (constantly rising) with global temperatures for the past 100 years, which dip in the 1960s and 1970s before rising again in the 1980s.
If CO2 caused warming, there wouldn’t have been a cooling trend at all.
Mine too. I lived on the east coast of Florida for 32 years, and even though liberals have been saying "we're all gonna die and die soon" if we don't wreck our economy (even more), I can report the following to be 100% true during this period: Every time I went to the beach, the ocean was in the same damn place it was the last time I went to the beach!
One volcanic eruption negates generations of “carbon footprint reduction”.
If we do fall into another little ice age or a full blown ice age we need to use the Global Warming/Climate Change wackos as fuel for the boilers.
I welcome the cooling. Would lower my AC bill (SFL).

In the 1940’s, air temperature and CO2 had opposing trends also.
Basically, CO2 and air temperature can be proven to be statistically correlated, within broad limits.
Statistics is based on INFERENCE not cause and effect testing.
Statistics is quick and dirty, while cause and effect testing is tedious and often inconclusive.
Guess which method has been by the junk scientists?
Yup! Their current GW Computer Model has over 200 variables and counting, rendering it impossible to test each variable independently of any of the others.
Thus,the untestable GW Model is a boon to junk scientists who need to publish or perish, and to Spendaholic Politicians who can then extort an infinite amount of tax dollars from their frightened citizens.
As storms go, Global Warming, and its derivatives, Climate Change and Global Cooling should be viewed as a Perfect Money Storm.
