A Broward County charter school teacher is facing battery charges after she allegedly forced a 10-year-old student to clean a dirty urinal that she thought the student clogged, according to the Coral Springs Police Department.
Jennifer Forshey, who teaches third grade at Broward Community Charter School West, according to the schools website, is accused of battery on a child by exposing the child to urine.
According to the arrest report, Forshey accused a 10-year-old boy of clogging the drain in a urinal in the boys bathroom on day last week. Police say she ordered the boy to use his hands to remove the paper towels filled with urine from unknown students.

Of course, punish the teacher.
Bizarre.
Oh, and the Miami media is treating this like BIG NEWS.
Meanwhile, Obama is ruining the economy and liberty....
Mooch makes Obozo clean her urinal!
He’s lucky he got off with the one urinal. I would have had to clean the whole bathroom.
Battery charge?
Things like this is why our country is failing
Because it's considered by the media to be a "hate" crime?
I guess my cleaning lady will be filing charges against me today.
And to make it seem worse, the line - “to remove the paper towels filled with urine from unknown students.” was added.
So would this have been worse if the students were known?
Everyone knows that unknown students have nastier urine.
They should make all the kids clean one.
“Stay in school, kid, so you won’t have to do this for a living”
ha!
“Johnny’s in the urinal, he’s pissing on the wall
If it hits the radiator we’ll all smell it in the hall
School teacher blues, I got them school teacher blues
School teacher blues, nothin’ to lose but my pain,
and that ain’t nothin’...”

I sympathize with the teacher. You have to let the kids pee, and when this happens a teacher is supposed to call custodial, of course. I’d like to know the backstory....like how many times this has happened before, if the teacher was being blamed for having the situation occur many times, if the teacher was having a bad time with that young lad all day,........

A teacher did this exact thing to me when I was in the fifth grade.
I did NOT clog up the urinal, but I was the unfortunate person who used it AFTER the person who clogged it. I was, and still am, 100% certain that this teacher (who regularly showed sadistic tendencies) knew I was not the offending party. But I was his chosen target for the day and nothing was going to stop him from humiliating me.
I never said a word to anyone about it to him or anyone else - I just cleaned the urinal with my hands and those brown paper, and returned to class.
And about a week later I blew a urinal off the wall in a teacher’s bathroom with a 1/4 stick of dynamite - WHILE the offending teacher was in an adjacent toilet stall. He got really wet and had to go home to change his clothes - and I never got caught.

Looking back, it occurs to me that I was sometimes a bit of a handful when I was a kid.
Whoa, dude! That’s almost getting into Bill Ayers territory.
Worst thing I ever did at school was while in detention and Sister Helen Ann left the room to go to the lavatory, I turned her clock ahead 30 minutes, and she let me leave when she returned. I set it back the next morning and she was never the wiser.
Great story.
We put Limburger cheese on the heaters and radiators....stink city.

I don’t think she should be arrested, but making a kid stick his bare hands in a urinal is idiotic. Punk or not.
my take is, "stay out of 'school' kid, so the government cannot indoctrinate you..."
Teacher is sadistic and should not be allowed around kids.
Dad should be waiting in the parking lot to give her a beating.
Don’t whine when someone does something like this to your kid.
