The team behind Miley Cyrus's Bangerz tour is reportedly meeting to respond to a flood of complaints by parents that the tour is too explicit for her still-young fan base.
Cyrus left her Hannah Montana persona behind starting last year with an uninhibited performance at the VMAs telecast. Now, with her Bangerz Canadian tour featuring simulated oral sex, twerking and lounging atop phallic symbols, some parents say enough is enough.

Mikey Cyrus is a rebel without a cause. Someday she might present us with something worth paying for.
I don’t believe she’s targeting her aging fans. I believes she’s targeting a broader audience. Just because Miley Cyrus is receiving a lot of media exposure doesn’t necessarily mean the attention is translating into large profit margins.
Think Charlie Sheen’s Tour.
The MSM loves to promote individuals such as Cyrus. This promotion doesn’t always reflect overwhelming interest and popularity.
She’s old enough to make her own choices.
I’m about as unhip as it gets. Proudly. Even I know Miley Cyrus isn’t for kids or anyone for that matter. Her dad sucked too with that achy breaky song.
She can laugh it up all she wants, but I don’t think she’ll end up getting help like Amanda Bynes did. I think her end will be like that of Amy Winehouse.
Miley established a huge child base and I don’t think parents have anticipated what I’m reading that others saw. Parents know she’s gone tart, but what I’m reading it’s x-rated.
Beiber just got arrested for criminal acts and she’s close to it at some point. I am certain that she’s going to hit the ground hard at some point.

I don’t consider Miley Cyrus to be a rebel at all. Reinventing your persona has been around for quite some time. Trying to portray yourself as “counter-cultural” has been around for decades.
Our Founding Fathers were true rebels. Miley Cyrus is just trying the tired old “shock” method in order to revive a career. She may very well pay for it.
