Genesis Carmona, who served as her state's 2013 Miss Turismo, was shot in the head in the city of Valencia Tuesday. The 22-year-old died Wednesday afternoon, marking the fifth fatality during the country's ongoing political turmoil.

Yep. It would be interesting to hear any of our current crop of elected politicians, on either side of the aisle, articulate what the goals of American foreign policy are, and how we plan to achieve those goals.
For that matter, it would be interesting to hear them articulate what their goals for America are.
Remember the lovely girl killed in the freedom protests in Iran? Obama wasn’t moved to do anything to help them, and the protest died, leaving the imams in power over the people. Obama is not going to do anything to promote freedom abroad while he tries to crush freedom in our own country. That is where we have been the past five years. Who will change that?

I'm not sure why you'd say that. Cops kill pretty much anyone they want with impunity now ga teen killed and coed killed by police and police cadet killed by instructor etc. to list just a tiny sample.
If you or a family member is killed by a cop there is essentially a zero chance that the cop will be brought to justice for it. So again I ask how do you think it's different here?
When heads start exploding at TEA Party rallies... then we will have become Venezuela. I am not discounting what you say but there is a difference as of today.

W would have called for a meeting of the Organization of American States. The rest of the countries would have to take action with American logistic support. Capture some Cubans and ofer them asylum.
We already know what their goals for America are. A communist workers utopian paradise.
They would have to kill 50% of the American population and replace us with
