Smartest Kid Ever Sells Girl Scout Cookies Outside a Medical Marijuana Clinic

Danielle Lei of San Francisco is one smart kid. According to Mashable, the 13-year-old and her mom chose a diabolically brilliant spot to vend Girl Scout cookies: outside the green-painted walls of a medical marijuana clinic. Unsurprisingly, sales were, um, high—the resourceful Scout dispensed 117 cookie boxes in two hours, 37 more than she managed to sell outside a neighborhood Safeway grocery store the following day. The Green Cross signed on completely:

"It's no secret that cannabis is a powerful appetite stimulant, so we knew this would be a very beneficial endeavor for the girls," Holli Bert, a staff member at The Green Cross, told Mashable in an email. "It's all about location, and what better place to sell Girl Scout cookies than outside a medical cannabis collective?"

‘The munchies’ don’t last forever...but long enough to snarf down major cookies.

I remember eating both. As I can’t anymore.....I live vicariously through those who can, including the stoners who seem to enjoy them more than most.

Now, after the cookie drive is over, she needs to bake her own and go back and set up a stand.

And then the government would come down on her like a ton of bricks for violating a whole list of regulations. That would end her entrepreneurial spirit.

Look, I’m no fan of legalizing any drug, but there’s no correlation to abortion.

Google Girl Scouts Planned Parenthood.

I suppose she could have set up shop just outside a “fat farm” and been just as successful...

Planned Parenthood and drugs. Very noble.

Actually, the girl stumbled upon a brilliant idea, after a fashion.

Many of the people who use medical marijuana do so while undergoing chemotherapy. Because of the harsh effects of some types of chemo, patients vomit a lot, and can’t even hold down water. At a time when their bodies are consuming far more calories than normal, this starvation reduces the amount of time for the chemo to fight the cancer before they starve to death.

Just by being able to eat, they might extend their lives for a month or two to perhaps four or six, and that may be enough time to stop the cancer.

But just importantly, *what* they eat matters. Oddly enough, because the intention of the chemo is to *create* “free oxygen radicals” in the tumor, they do not want to eat antioxidant foods, because they will fight their chemo.

So most “health food” is right out. Instead they *might* need high protein, high fat, high complex carbohydrate foods, with the exception of simple sugars, which might “feed” their tumor.

And since right after using marijuana might be the optimal time for them to eat, having a restaurant specializing in such rich food just outside the clinic would be optimal.

But because there are a bunch of different kinds of chemo and cancer, particular menus would have to be tailor made by oncologists.

“Bright future? Much of the proceeds go to Planned Parenthood.”

Knowing that the members get no money themselves for their efforts, do you really believe she’s going to be selling Girl Scout cookies for the rest of her life??

I just cannot champion girls, minors, who are being used who’s parents allow them to be used by the Girls scouts who have been usurped by radical feminists.

It’s not just unimpressive, it is disgusting.

I think kids who have a bright future are those whose parents look into the source of the organizations they support with time and effort.

ya...so get mad at the kid...

I don’t support the GSA either, but using a funny story about smart marketing, to tee off about abortion and GSA leadership is just a bit warpped.

Listen you goof ball!

The kid doing some smart marketing has NOTHING TO DO W the CORRUPT GSA LEADERSHIP.

The STUPID suggestion that she’d go market at an abortion clinic next is simply psychotic!

I don’t support the GSA either....

but the kid’s smart marketing was FUNNY!!!

GET IT?!?!?

stanne, unwrap that cloak of self-righteousness you have so tightly around you and read what I originally posted as well as posts 33 & 34. We’re not saluting the GSA or it’s political philosophy. We are, however, saluting a young lady whose business acumen is admirable. Personally, I have no great love for the GSA or any other organization that uses children to enrich its coffers for whatever the reason, and that includes the school candy that their parents push on their coworkers every year. Oh, and just so you’ll know, I’m pro-life too.
OK, I’m through now, so you can hop back on your pedestal and go back to looking down at the rest of us flawed capitalists...

“Maybe she can grow up and be enterprising on whoring too?”

Hmm, prejudging someone and demonizing them without any knowledge of the young lady’s character.
Are you sure you wouldn’t be more comfortable at Democrat Underground?
