You think so? That said, I haven’t watched any of those late night shows in ages. They just don’t interest me, besides if I get tears in my eyes which usually happens around 9:00pm it means it’s bedtime for me

Back in '86 I was a year out from graduating from college. My older brother was a die-hard BRUUUUUCE fan. This Bloom County cartoon was published that very year. Of course, I loved it... he failed to find the humor in it :)

The article fails to mention how NBC was given $20 million tax break by NYC just to keep the Tonight Show in NYC. Meanwhile every New Yorker has to put up with the increasingly high taxes to pay for the Tonight Show. Of course, this is what they voted for.
