I would not even bother to listen to any news that’s been “vetted” by a low-IQ marshmallow major gubmit dork.

Of course, the current news has already been “vetted” by a low-IQ marshmallow major MSM dork.

So, perhaps, there’s no real change, eh?

Thankfully, there’s the internet...and no what the gubmit does, we geeks have ways to get around them.

He does not like anything about our Constitution, so that fits.

Here is a WSJ article written by Ajit Pai, a commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission :

The FCC Wades Into the Newsroom.

Why is the agency studying ‘perceived station bias’ and asking about coverage choices?

http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304680904579366903828260732

“But everyone should agree on this: The government has no place pressuring media organizations into covering certain stories.

Unfortunately, the Federal Communications Commission, where I am a commissioner, does not agree. Last May the FCC proposed an initiative to thrust the federal government into newsrooms across the country. With its “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs,” or CIN, the agency plans to send researchers to grill reporters, editors and station owners about how they decide which stories to run. A field test in Columbia, S.C., is scheduled to begin this spring. “

I would strongly opine, that “yes” they are in the process, right now.

Fox seems to be the only free and opposing media outlet.

It will be very instructive, how they behave and how the Obama administration continues.

The government has no voice in the media.

None.

This is how sin destroys.

News today is garbage and gossip.

In theory, people should be better informed.

It’s a low information country.

So somehow this might “ make sense” to some people.

“The government has no voice in the media.”

You mean they SHOULD NOT have a voice.

I saw a couple of discussions on FoxNews about this — that if the FCC doesn’t like what you say, they can pull the station’s license...

The government has no voice in the media.

That is a nieve statement.

News rooms follow the Whitehouse talking points.

...the FCC will send monitors to newsrooms...

"Monitors"? Isn't the traditional job title "zampolit"?

The FCC regulates the internet too...

There’s plans for satellite based net.

There are always work arounds.

When those don’t work, unlike the Ukraine, we’re armed.

Fox I believe is the target in this, and Obama plans to move against Fox within the next two and a half years, it would appear perhaps.

This would be a huge conflict.

And it appears to be, being set-up right now.

Just saying. This is a step too far, by the government.

Back off government.

Is Obama trying to kill a free press?

Yes, but it's gonna be difficult as the only free press is in Australia, New Zealand, Eastern Europe and Asia.
