Skip to comments.Bozell & Graham Column: Jimmy Fallon, Democrat Political Asset

The Obamas have had few more obsequious media allies than NBC's Jimmy Fallon. Now that he's taking over the hallowed ground of "The Tonight Show," Fallon's proven ability to spread his reach into viral videos on YouTube promises to become even more politically potent.
Fallon's Obama-friendly sketches and interviews have become immediate "news" grist for the Comcast corps at NBC and MSNBC. The same sensation happens when Fallon is ripping into a Republican.
Just as NBC and MSNBC were tearing Gov. Chris Christie apart over "Bridgegate," Fallon joined this political crusade by bringing on liberal rock star Bruce Springsteen for a jokey version of the hit "Born to Run."
Fallon and Springsteen sang clumsy lyrics that Christie was "killing the working man who is stuck in Governor Chris Christie's Fort Lee, New Jersey traffic jam." The YouTube video went viral, while the media played it up as another nail in the coffin they were building for Christie's career.
The NBC press agents are trying to paper over Fallon's political tilt. A Parade Magazine profile on Feb. 16 oozed that Fallon "persuaded Brad Pitt to yodel, President Obama and Mitt Romney to 'slow jam the news,' and Tom Cruise to crack raw eggs on his noggin." But why pretend?

There is nothing less than a political coup by mindless liberals who are using every form they have access to the foist this nonsense upon the public.
If you thought any part of "The Tonight Show" was conservative, you haven't been paying attention.
BTW, the article appears to be pro-Chris Christie.
For the record, I am against Chris Christie so this is posted to be about Fallon; not to promote Christie.
The media is more corrupt than ever.
Over throw the government? Start with the media first!!
They fired the #1 talk show for this guy?
SNL alum, useful idiot. He must see himself as a sort of hero to the dumb masses (say it fast).
No surprise here. One doesn't ascend to his level these days without fellating the Hollywood Left.
Used to watch Leno but will not watch Fallon, especially after that horrible skit last night with the big MO and Will Farrell. I have no idea why anyone was laughing.
Yep, because he was even more left-leaning. I saw his first couple shows after he took over from Conan. It was O-O-O-O-Obama all the time.
“Used to watch Leno but will not watch Fallon...”
Ditto. I’m at ZERO times watching the show and I intend to keep it at that count.
Gotta admit, I was too young to watch him but I did watch a lot of Caron. He seems like a right-winger compared to Leno and Fallon. Leno wavered but he was sucking up to Obama pretty good at the beginning, taking shots at Palin. I stopped watching, unless ‘Headlines’ was on and then I switched after that.
Fallon teamed up with Queen Latifah for a movie before he started his late-night stuff. If I had any doubt, his pathetic, and I do mean pathetic, pandering to O was obvious those first couple days.
He should have been selling “collectible plates” and tingling with Chrissy Matthews.
It’s just not fair.
At least with Jay Leno, he was a good American, somewhat conservative and was critical of Obama.
This Fallon fellow appears to be on an Overt Mission to prop up Obama and destroy Republicans.
Not only should there a Conservative Boycott of The Tonight Show, but a boycott of NBC and the show’s sponsors.
Kudos to Brent Bozell for bringing another media injustice to light.
I’m betting that his tenure on the Tonight Show will be like Conan’s, short but not sweet.........................
~~~and was critical of Obama.~~~
Watch the years 2008 forward (ahem) and his PDS. He was part of selling this guy to the masses.
And all you have to do is look at his line-up for the last show. That’s all you need to know regarding it.
Oprah, Kardashian, and a taped message from Obama, pretending it was all in fun.
I don’t think many will watch. Especially once the find out how lame Fallon is, in reality, with stand-up. He is simply not funny.
I’ll give that Leno could be funny, if he wasn’t on conservatives. “Jaywalking” and “Headlines” were very good, usually.
Fallon is about as funny as root canal. He’s on the Universal tram tour, he’s horrible and I can’t even go on that ride. I thought whoopie was bad. And yes he is just another omomba colostomy bag.
Yikes — guess I’ll be avoiding that if I’m there again, any time in the near future.
I’m almost embarrassed for him. He’s a pathetic lapdog for the Left.
That he is. Don’t be embarrassed. He chose it.
Let him enjoy the ride. Wave bye-bye when the ratings hit new lows.
I’m looking forward to that day.
If you liked your Tonight Show now...
It’s dreadful. Who did this guy blow?
Hope you didn’t just eat lunch:
Sorry I just can’t watch it. Can’t stand either one of them.
I hear ya. It was painful for me.
Look at the idiotic comments from liberals below the video. Just incredible.
I quit watching even ‘Headlines’ when, to me, it was obvious some were photoshopped for a joke.
Can’t stand when obullshiite goes into his preacher mode.
Now reading those might be funny.
I turned it on for three minutes after the Olympics last night. Utter crapola, including our illustrious “first lady” who was a parody of herself— as always.
That’s the last three minutes I’ll ever waste with the Tonight show. Fallon can Falloff as far as I’m concerned.
I haven’t watch ed the Tonight Show since Carson..................
It was just state propaganda disguised as “entertainment”.
It’s so obvious and pathetic that it is just sickening.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Leno, although I liked his “headlines.” At least Leno would poke fun at the regime, something Letterman would not do. Letterman is a regime moutpiece, and I won’t watch him. Fallon, though, goes to a whole creepy new level of 0bama worship. It’s almost like watching the old Soviet propaganda about Joseph Stalin.
I’m wondering when Fallon will do a musical skit called “Ode to 0bama.”
Yes and it was far more entertaining.
Fallon is as entertaining as KO, or perhaps Geraldo Rivera.
Or tuning into state propaganda by Tokyo Rose during WWII.
I guess with no Netflix, or cable this is the only crap on tv for lots of people.
Why they’d CHOOSE to watch this drivel is beyond me.
In 2011, Fallon had Sen. Michele Bachmann as a guest and she was introduced with a song by Fishbone called “Lyin’ Ass Bitch.”
Exactly. And NBC never fired “the legendary Roots Band” -— they were doing the work they were supposed to do.
Can’t stand when obullshiite goes into his preacher mode.
Now reading those might be funny. Or it might make me upchuckschumer.
Another Letterman. Great.
