Ukrainian protesters tore through towns all over their nation, ripping down statues of Vladimir Lenin, the communist dictator who had forced the Ukrainians under the Russian yoke after the Bolshevik revolution.
The Ukrainians drove their corrupt, pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovich from the capitol of Kiev, while the opposition leader former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was freed from prison.
Amazing images of protesters tearing down the iconic face of socialism V.I. Lenin (also known as Vladimir Ulyanov) erupted into a fury on social media last night.
These photos are truly inspiring – at least to those able to recognize the significance of young people yearning to throw off the legacy of an oppressive system of government: socialism.

I understand it is made of bronze? Would mean it is hollow, yes? Some enterprising patriot with a working knowledge of chemistry may yet find the right kind of acid to apply some night which would melt that evil bastard’s metal head.

It was all that upstaging by Stalin.
The bloody hand is a nice touch. The place is full of leftists. Stupid ones too. I get a kick out of where the statue is - in front of a Taco Bell(?) and all sorts of other Capitalistic stores and businesses. The statue has a decoration on it of some sort a lot/most of the time. Rainbow crap for gay pride days, goofy hats, etc.
I get such a kick out of it as I just view it that they are defacing Lenin, and the ideas that he stood for. That was the intent of the guy that brought it over - he wanted it to stand in America as a sort of war trophy.
So that is how I view it.

One of the people I shoot NRA Highpower with told me he had a few beers once in Fremont and on the way to his car, relieved himself on it. He also told me that it was obvious when he did it that he wasn’t the first to do so.

Stalin had just about zero to do with D-Day itself. He was too involved with his own troop/resources build up for his take over assault on Eastern Europe. He sided with Roosevelt vs Churchill to manipulate where the invasion in the West would occur. (That was it!) Churchill wanted to just keep pushing north from Italy as we were already there, but that would have put the US/British forces right in the middle of Stalin’s expansionist agenda, as we would have had to swing east of the Italian Alps through today’s Slovenia. The Normandy invasion quickly bogged down and Churchill had to practically beg Stalin to begin his Eastern Campaign early to ease German resistance on the Western Front. The Soviet push, Operation Bagration, began 16 days after the D-Day Invasion. Stalin’s bust must go!
