Yeah...I guess I’ve got to support that too. Hopefully the western European down word spiral will not infect them if they are successful breaking away. Poland seems to be standing strong for traditional values while in the EU sphere.

Both of you are relatively new here (he says, leaning on his cane), but the group of FReepers I fondly refer to as the Borscht Brigade came into their own during Clinton's bombing of Kosovo during the late 1990's. For obvious reasons, they found a sympathetic ear here. These guys are Russian revanchists, pure and simple. You just have to wait for an event such as this one to see it.

It's gotten to the point where I can guess the author of a comment before seeing who wrote it.

Neither was what your buddy Yanukovych was doing...

Two wrongs don’t make a right, but this act of Parliament corrects at least one wrong.

I don’t think Russia is moving in any direction. It is stuck where it has always been. They did the homo propaganda thing right but it reminds me of the broken clock being right twice a day.

As the saying goes they haven’t forgotten anything old, and have not learned anything new. BTW, it goes for any old Eastern European commie, not just the Russian variety.

7 Cool Political Maps That Show How Old Historical Events Still Haunt The World Today
http://www.businessinsider.com/seven-maps-that-prove-that-history-is-forever-2013-9

Take a look at the Ukraine map. It looks like the political divide that exists there today dates back to the Kievan Rus of 882-1283.

I heard that it’s a brigade sent here by some obscure blabbermouth radio host by the name of Alex Jones, but whoever is the source or the leader, they all recite and parrot the laughable mantra about evil conspiracies by George Soros (who is unknown in Ukraine) and the EU.

They gave a revolution and the fools missed it!

But he did try to leave, didn’t he, from Donetsk, attempting to bribe border guards, as you reported earlier.

That one there is funny. On some Eastern European forums the paid communist trolls call anyone who does not worship Putin and Mother Russia a sorosoid.

Interesting. So, depending on the source of the parrots’ text Soros is either a Putinista or anti-Putinista.

It’s so easy to recruit useful idiots.

Is it possible that Alex Jones is pulling George Soros' strings?

Or maybe Jones is under the employ of Soros, and delivered to us in order to distract from what Soros is really up to?

Maybe Ukraine can go it alone, or at least ply'emoff against each other

Another notion is that the eastern half of Ukraine secedes over this attempted coup and is quickly recognized by Russia who sends in troops and cash. The western half of Ukraine falls into chaos as the main opposition parties fight over power, which leads the ultranationalists in the west to set up their own government in Lviv. Who knows maybe other countries like Lithuanaia and Poland pick up some of the remaining pieces.

If Soros is the Emperor who rules the world from behind the curtain, then I’ll certainly sign on with his forces. ‘Cause that’s where the money is, to quote a bank robber.

Alex Jones is actually Bill Hicks, who was secretly hired by George Soros in late 1993; after faking his death, Hicks went on to develop his “Alex Jones” persona, which itself is merely a way to distract us all from Soros’ machinations by making us all think that conspiracy theorists are raving wacko loons.

/tinfoil

Actually, there is a conspiracy theory out there that says that Alex Jones is, in reality, the late comedian Bill Hicks; that Hicks faked his 1994 death and became Alex Jones, and that it’s all some kind of meta-comedy.

Somewhat similar to the urban legend that Andy Kaufman faked his death.
