Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick signaled Sunday that he would be open to a White House bid at some point, though the governor has previously ruled out seeking the presidency in 2016.
Asked in an interview whether he could see himself as a national candidate not necessarily in 2016 the second-term Democrat responded: Maybe. Maybe.
Thats a decision I have to make along with my wife of 30 years, and shes a tough one to convince, Patrick said. Prodded further, the former Justice Department official responded: Lets just see what time tells.
Only the second African-American elected governor of a U.S. state, Patrick gave a blockbuster speech at the 2012 Democratic National Convention declaring it was time for Democrats to stiffen our backbone and stand up for what we believe.

I can see the GOP giving him a look...
Yeah, that’s zackly what we need: another obama clone.
Of course he is. He’s another of the beige bolsheviks that David Axelrod specializes in pushing into high office. In fact, he was Obama v. 0.9.
Just wait until team Hitlery get through with him. Should be fun.
Deval has an impressive record already.
The possible future?
Imagine: Ten thousand helpless children murdered
and raped each year, in foster homes across the USA
by known felons in Deval Patrick-DNC way.
Imagine: Every record of the DO”J” deliberately
corrupted to enable Holder to incarcerate anyone he wants,
anytime he wants. The Deval Patrick-DNC way.
He's a clueless BHO clone. When he ordered the shutdown of the area chasing after the surviving Boston Marathon bomber, he was going to take off for his mansion in Western MA, leaving the everybody else stranded.
BHO had to call and tell him to stay put...
another brudder.....and another LEFTIST brudder at that....
I will have no problem voting for Colonel West or even the much maligned Herman Cain.
True, very true.
I wonder how they’ll do it though. People are either going to be a racist or sexist, it’ll have them punching themselves in the mirror.
But he does have one thing going for him, he was masterful at taking away peoples rights after the bombing. So, the elite will love him for that.
We already have a devil in the White House.
On that front, her team failed to stop an unknown Senator from attaining the highest office.
Just when one thinks that the presidency IQ cannot be lowered.
Every weeks it’s a new scandal that anyone else would have been run out of office for. But not Cadillac Deval. We don’t even have a Lt. Governor to take his place because he was corrupt.
BTW, Deval Patrick is a flaming closet case.
The Clintons are about to become racist again.
He’s worse than incompetent. God help us.
Another wild leftie who never takes responsibility for anything. He’s a walking disaster with a sweet girly voice.
Yes, that’s just what we need - another L.O.C.*
*Loser of Color
Think there’s enough White Guilt to get him elected?
The only way Patrick becomes president is to be Hillary’s VP. As the old witch’s dementia takes hold during her second term, Patrick might have a shot at serving out the remainder of that term.
But nominated on the democrat ticket? In 2016? Not a snowball’s chance in proverbial hell.
This is from The Onion right?
Tell me this is joke. Right?
I have a sneaky feeling that Hillary's health problems are worse than anyone in her camp is letting on.
I have long been predicting a Patrick/O’Malley (Com-MD Gov)ticket and see no reason to change my mind.
I imagine there are some good White House job openings in custodial and maintenance. Maybe assistant toilet plunger?
He could have a future as the executive lawn care supervisor in charge of scumber and unfound Easter eggs.
Ah! Another affirmative action president. That’s exactly what this country needs.
Let’s be honest here. Barack Obama was and is completely inept. He’s not some mad genius expertly plotting to destroy the country. He’s simply not up to the job. Even worse, America elected him twice even though he continues to demonstrate a complete lack of skill as chief executive.
Frankly, he was a complete nobody out of Illinois, but his skin was black. There, I wrote it. A white guy with his political (non) record would have been laughed out of the race, but somehow Barack pulled it off. I’ll attribute it to white guilt and black racism until someone proves me wrong.
I think Hillary’s VP will likely be a DeVal Patrick/Cory Booker type. With a “wink wink” to the entitlement army about Hillary’s health issues.
The article says he will not run in ‘16.
I’ve read that Patrick is an associate member of the Clinton Crime Family. I think he’s a likely VP candidate.
First genuine male Black presidential cadidate?
as opposed to first shemale, Kenyan, bi-racial fraud President
3) Hillary the Dem nominee in 2016
Hillary the Dem nominee in 2016
I don’t buy item 3.
Those two make Arafat in his last days look good. The masks aren’t going to hold up much longer.
The masks arent going to hold up much longer.
And IMHO that day will come sooner rather than later.
Arpaio’s and Zullo’s press conference in March will be a game changer from what I read...
You get the impression that even those not paying much attention have a foreboding sense that the inevitable SHTF day is fast approaching?
It’s an overwhelming sensation that everyone is on edge waiting for “it”, even if they can’t put their finger on what “it” is. A very unnerving lull before the storm. Those who see it coming aren’t necessarily confident that they will be prepared.
Kind of like knowing a 9.0 EQ is imminent, but being helpless if it happens on the school field trip day to the nuke plant.
Tension you can cut with a knife.
Heck, you can cut it with a dull butter knife. Have to move it aside with hands just to walk through it.
