Ares Armor is a small tactical company that operates a store in National City, California. Recently the town of National City disapproved of a sign displayed at the National City store location and told the store, "Take down the sign or go to jail. We do not approve of guns...or you."
The store has been in compliance with the law and was not doing anything illegal. So why is there a fuss? It's because of the guns and the message of freedom being promoted by Ares Armor.

Not familiar with National City but I have done business Ares Armor in the past.
SOMEONE has a bee in his/her bonnet. This whole thing sounds VERY personal.
Backing down is not enough
It’s very close to Naval Base San Diego.
National City is a high crime sh*thole, last time I was there.
So the CITY police do not carry guns? They do not carry .40 cal Glock 22's? They do not have a cache of M-16's?
What they do not approve is private, law-abiding citizens having guns. Only the state must have guns, and the people must cower in fear to assure their obedience.
God save America from the Democrat/Progressive/Liberal Christ-hating Nazi's who have already lied and cheated their way into control of much of our government.
“Take down the sign or go to jail. We do not approve of guns...or you.”
Finally some candor from the left. Like New York, California will eventually declare political dissidents second class citizens and attempt to banish or at least disenfranchise them.
Here is how the scum do it in the NYC burbs

Only one suitable response, "Molon Labe!"
But the key is to take on the apparatchiks, not their agents.
The store should sue the city for civil rights violations, of both the 1st and 2nd amendments.
CA ping
Agreed. And present two options for the settlement when they win:
1) $5 million for the tyrannical violation of civil rights, and free enterprise; or
2) $1 million for the violations, and the immediate termination of the arrogant despot responsible.
Watch how fast the town fathers throw the would-be fuhrer under die autobus.
FYI, NutNfancy has a 40 minute video on youtube on this.
I think it's the same video that's at the article. I'll check it out.
Store owner should respond:
“Show me the existing statute or policy that I’m violating, as I am unprepared to move to your whims.”
Snap!!!
Tell that to the Jews of WWII Poland.
From the looks of the sign he has build parties.
