Ted Nugent vows no more name calling — then calls Obama ‘liar’
washingtontimes.com ^ | 2/25/14 | Cheryl K. Chumley

Rocker Ted Nugent, who just made media waves with a printed reference of President Obama as a “subhuman mongrel,” now says he’s going stop calling people names — but apparently not the name “liar.”

Mr. Nugent said in CNN: “Instead of using terms like ‘subhuman mongrel,’ I’m going to get right to the meat of the matter where our president is a liar. He lies about you can keep your doctor, period. Over and over again, he lies about Benghazi. He’s lying about the IRS.”

Obama himself has used the terms “mongrel” and “liar” to describe people.

This is one-way outrage.

When someone deliberately misleads, obfuscates, crafts stories of omission, and stretches the truth for his own gain, what should you call them?

That’s not namecalling.

That’s “speaking truth to power.”

Remember how the Left used to love that stupid phrase?

I suppose in the mealy-mouth, ever-changing-rules world of a liberal, the term liar is subjective, like the words ‘idiot’ or ‘douchebag’ or ‘curmudgeon’.

Yeah, those last three are essentially subjective terms, while the term ‘liar’ can be definitively determined and applied. But to a progressive, where the narrative is the reality, lying and telling the truth are subjective too.

Rock on, Ted.

Name-calling usually refers to the application of derogatory epithets: “subhuman mongrel” is a derogatory epithet when applied to any human being, “liar” is not when applied to a person who provably made false statements in the knowledge that they were false.

Thus far, Mr. Nugent has been good to his word.

Context! You have to call people something to identify them. They have to have a name to identify them. It can be a formal name or a name, a trade, or just a name of what they are known for: Joe, Jack, Jim, Jerry, boot maker, bartender, teller, mechanic, etc., etc.,

Liar would seem to me a very appropriate name for someone who's profession is lying.

Saying Obama is a “Liar” is simply a statement of fact.

Saying Obama is a “Patriot” (as the somewhat mentally deficient Bill O’Reilly) IS A LIE.

Ted is a formidable opponent. Bless you, Ted.

Mr. Ted Nugent is an American treasure and the Founding Fathers would be most proud of this fearless patriot. Nugent clearly recognizes that the Second Amendment is what guarantees the First Amendment. Leaders and opinion shapers in the mold of Ted Nugent and Governor Sarah Palin are needed in these desperate times of the obama regime.

This interview is WELL WORTH WATCHING, once you get through Erin Burnett running her mouth in the beginning:

Its not name calling. Its just a descriptive adjective.

As in “Marxist” or “Statist” or “mendacious” or “prevaricating” or “narcissistic” or “sociopathic” - all of which, by the way, apply to Obama also.

How do you identify a problem without naming IT.?.
Calling IT what it “”IS”...

Name calling is.... calling a spade a spade.. taking names and renaming them..
The Art of the Insult.. has a long tradition... an honored endeavor..

Calling a treasonous son of a bitch.. an honored colleague is BULL SPERM..
Making you a mealy mouth mouth breather..

It’s TIME to get BACK to creative hyperbole..
Comedic name calling is an American tradition..
Expected and a worthy investment of time..
