On the interracial marriage point. I don’t remember any flap either. I’m tired of the crap. If I wanted service from someone I suspected did not want to provide it to me. I’d look for another provider. But it’s not about service. It’s about forcing your will on someone else.

Is it an airline or a media outlet for political correctness?

This isn’t merely to appease the LGBT community; it’s now late enough in the game to appease the 50% of the credulous populace (the 50% who still fly for business reasons) who have been convinced that there’s a civil rights issue to be righted. Poor America.

A male flight attendant told my wife & I that he wore a wedding band only because he needed a `fag deflector’ while working in a business dominated by faggies. Made things tough with his girlfriend, though; “She keeps asking me when I’m going wear it for real!”

Anyway, Delta can go climb a tree. If I can’t drive somewhere, then I’m not going. Lots of America out there to see.

Homosexuals are now the elite of America's elite.

How else to explain how 2 percent of the population has the rest of the country so completely wrapped around their finger?

Hey take your pick...You think that you can avoid this think again. You want to drive...fine ALL the auto companies have the same policy statement. These are publicly traded companies un like Hobby Lobby or Chick Fil A.

If you all choose to live in a hole in the ground so be it.

Some examples...

American Airlines LGBT Policies, Practices and Community Recognition at a Glance
For nearly two decades, American Airlines has been a pioneer in its fair-minded policies and practices for its lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) customers and employees. American Airlines has consistently held the highest possible ranking on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index and remains the most gay-friendly of all U.S. airlines through its generous partnerships with the LGBT community, as well as its loyalty and respect for customers, employees and shareholders, and unflagging commitment to diversity.
“We know that all passengers, including gays and lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people, have many choices when it comes to travel. We want your loyal business and we will work to earn it.”

At Southwest Airlines, we take pride in our outreach and commitment to the LGBT community. We have community partnerships with a variety of local and national organizations who are dedicated to LGBT causes and initiatives. As an example, we are the official airline of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), the Gay-Straight Alliance Network (GSA), the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), and the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change.

United Airlines was named one of the Top Companies for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Equality for 2013 by Work Life Matters magazine on Thursday night.

The annual award honors U.S. companies that develop “programs and policies that support LGBT employees and promote workplace equality,” according to a release.

Yup. A really big part of the issue is that, as Toqueville pointed out, is that Americans worship public opinion. We have a tendency to decide that whatever most people believe in is what is right and moral.

This means that until recently most opposed homosexuality primarily not because of deeply held moral beliefs, but because that was the popular belief. Now most of those same people switch sides as the popular opinion changes.

Alaska Airlines sent a letter of support as well.

Why do these companies have to get political?

Remember how Bill Ayres and Barack Obama both got places on the board of the Annenberg Foundation? It is no secret that leftists hae been infiltrating foundations, it should be no surprise that many liberals should be on corporate boards as well. I know that Hillary was on some board or another.

Don’t be surprised if you will be waited on by a guy dressed up as a stewardess. Delta is setting themselves up for it. The day will come when a male transexual will want to come to work dressed as a female and what will Delta say then?

Deltas dress code is stricter than the government civilians. I worked in a Delta hub. The guy/girl wears the appropriate female attire.
