BONNE TERRE, Missouri -- A Missouri inmate was executed early Wednesday for abducting, raping and killing a Kansas City teenager as she waited for her school bus in 1989, marking the state's fourth execution by lethal injection in as many months.

Michael Taylor, 47, was pronounced dead shortly at 12:10 a.m. at the state prison in Bonne Terre. Federal courts and the governor had refused last-minute appeals from his attorneys, who argued that the execution drug purchased from a compounding pharmacy could have caused Taylor inhumane pain and suffering.

Taylor offered no final statement. He mouthed silent words to his parents, two clergymen and two other relatives who witnessed his death. As the process began, he took two deep breaths before closing his eyes for the last time. There were no obvious signs of distress.

His victim, 15-year-old Ann Harrison, was in her driveway - carrying her school books, flute and purse - when she was abducted by Taylor and Roderick Nunley. The men pulled her into their car, took her to a home, then raped and fatally stabbed the teenager as she pleaded for her life.

Nitrogen Asphyxiation - painless, no mess, no fuss. Just strap the condemned to a chair, put on a breathing mask and a brain monitor. Flow 1.1 atmospheres of 99% pure nitrogen and wait for the brain waves to go flat.

I'm glad the perp finally got his due. But he sucked oxygen for ten more years after the foul deed than the poor little girl lived on earth.

Why does it take so damn long to flush this sewage?

For a crime that took place in 1989?? Oh, my. Why does justice take that long. Why? It is not justice if it takes that long to administer. Justice delayed is justice denied. Period.

What I’ve wondered for years is why we don’t use the same chemicals that Hermann Goering and Himler used to almost immediately snuff out their lives: cyanide. Ya’ put a capsule in the POS’s mouth, break it open, and kill the bastard.

What’s the big problem? It’s almost immediate, cheap, and quite effective.

All we’re doing is letting the libtards toy with the executions and drag law abiding citizens through court.

Personally, I’d love to just use a firing squad. Probably a lot cheaper.

What part of kidnapping, raping, and murdering an innocent little girl makes liberals look at this and want to save this evil man’s life? What part of total innocence makes liberals look at an unborn child and demand not just a right to murder the innocent but also that our money subsidize their attacks on the innocent? I don’t think it’s possible for decent people and progressives to compromise.

Who fricking cares about "inhumane pain and suffering" for an animal like that?

25 years is way too long. I saw a story recently about a man who blew up a United Airways plane in 1955 killing all aboard. He did it to kill his mother who was a passenger. The state of Colorado executed him 14 months after the crime was committed.

But, but...it might HURT!

Can't have the poor baby feel any of the pain that he may have inflicted on his victims.

Why, that would make him a victim and we can't have that!

How absolutely revolting. This just shows how sick this sociey has become. Concern about causing “inhumane pain and suffering” for the guy who brutally raped and stabbed to death a beautiful, innocent little child.

"...last-minute appeals from his attorneys, who argued that the execution drug purchased from a compounding pharmacy could have caused Taylor inhumane pain and suffering."

Hm, let's see:

A 15-year-old girl abducted, horrified, terrorized, sexually brutalized and killed over a period of at the very least an hour and probably days, robbing her of the tender love of a husband, children and grandchildren and being able to look after her parents in their old age, as compared to 15-30 minutes of "inhumane pain" to the one who inflicted this suffering on her and her family.

Such a dilemma, Your Honor!

They later told police that they had been binging on crack cocaine that morning. Both ultimately confessed, although each portrayed the other as the aggressor in the attack.

After spotting Ann, one attacker got out of the car, grabbed her and tossed her into the vehicle. She screamed and fought, but they threatened to kill her if she did not stop.

They drove her to the home of Nunley’s mother in south Kansas City. They forced her into the basement and bound her hands with wire.

In his confession, Taylor said that they both raped her. His DNA was recovered. There was no physical evidence linking Nunley to the sexual assault, and he has always denied that he raped her.

While she was enduring the assault, her family and friends were beginning the frantic search for Ann, whose books, purse and flute case were left neatly piled on the ground.

After raping her, they debated whether to kill her. Nunley said Taylor insisted on it. Taylor said it was Nunley.

A prosecutor later said that it didn’t matter, calling them a “sadistic tag team.”

Ann refused when they told her to get in the car trunk. She pleaded with them not to kill her and said her parents would pay them if they let her go. They pretended to go along with that idea and said they were going to drive her to a pay phone to call her parents.

Instead, they got knives from the kitchen and stabbed her to death.

How much more statistical proof need their be to show that the Black community is a rotting diseased corpse? Where are the Black men of God who will stop searching for earthly riches and popularity and speak to the issues of their community?
