That point was reached on November 4, 2008. The majority of voters that refer to themselves as Americans affirmed that on November 6, 2012 when they once again said that they wished to be ruled by a muslim.

The majority of Americans did not vote for odinga. Their votes were cancelled out by fraudulent votes.

Yeah, but Turley still supports what Obama stands for...

Idiot.

The nation as we knew it will not survive Obama. I highly recommend a bug-out plan. Seriously.

There are 100,000,000 armed citizens in this country. We have absolutely no reason to run from anyone.

No American voted for the bastard. But that does not negate the fact that he stills occupies the White House.

"Seriously? Bug out to where? Where might it be better to live than The United States of America?"

Belize?

Pretty much anywhere that is not run by a MarxoFascist state Soviet-style dictatorship with an Islamic Apologist flavor.

Yet again, you reveal yourself to be a surrender monkey who's all too keen on encouraging others to stand down and run away from the fight.

Turn in your Freeper card.

I'd rather die here on my own home soil, fighting to save what generations of Americans have passed along to me, than to run away for some temporary "safety". At least when I get to Fiddler's Green, I'll be able to look my forefathers in the eye, and tell 'em I stood and fought, instead of folding up the tents when things got tough.

Amen, brother Dawg. I am so done with the surrender monkeys and purveyors of cowardice around here. If they want to run and hide, I say good riddance. They need to turn in their Freeper cards and leave the discussions to those who still have the will and the backbone to fight.

How many times are you going to misuse the term..”bugout”?

Most people I know already have a bugout plan. I does not generally mean to get on a airplane and go to a foreign country. It means to have a plan to get you and yours to a place of safety, should society breakdown.

In such a situation, cities and many smaller metro areas will become campfires. Looting, burning, killing, and all in between.

If you don't have a plan in place for that possibility, then you should make one.....sooner the better.

As usual you have no clue what you are talking about. Obviously rhetorical answers escapes your intelligence.

That said - since you fashion yourself as a 'fightin' man' - what are you personally going to do to stop all this unConstitutional tyranny?

I'll wager it's along the lines of voting for an Establishment Vichy Republican while convincing yourself you are saving the Constitution

I peg your kind as the first to run in terror or the first to get mowed down when the balloon goes up.

This A-Hole would be the first to endorse Obama, if Obama suspended elections. I wish there was a way to make just the idiots who voted for this guy twice suffer the consequences of their profound stupidity!

Okay, so we must resist and overcome tyranny. By what means? Keep voting? Other than peaceful means?

Tipping point? This is media hypnosis.

I agree with your sentiment about our organizing capacity, ability to respond to crises and capacity to fix things.

But I also agree that a tipping point has been reached. Not necessarily one that leads to the "destruction" of the nation, but one that means that the ultimate crisis requiring fixing is now inevitable. It's no longer a matter of "whether", but "when."

And at the point of "when" its going to be ugly. Very, very ugly.

Exactly what Solzhenitsyn advised what SHOULD have been done when they had the chance.

Solzhenitsyn had a very, very good point. But we're not at that level, yet. In thinking of when it will come, and whether his advice will be heeded (even by people who have never read it), the situation in CT where ~100,000 people, accounting for 85% of "assault weapons" owners are in possession of ~300,000 now "illegal" firearms, comes to mind.

Those people (collectively) don't have a problem. The state of CT, on the other hand, has a VERY BIG problem ...

Waaahoo, spoken well and I will jump on top of that with both feet and a pair of big shoes.....out with the cowards and whiners.

No place or time to be worring about your back in a ditch with a bunch of fence jumping expat cry babies. Bring it the old fashion American way and we can get down to business. Win, lose or lose (ain’t no draw)....

Yep. No one would listen then, and no one will listen now ... My tag line came from 40 years ago ...

As then, so now - a few will make some noise, fad away secure in their blustering words, until it is their turn, but then it will be too late; their bluster will have been noted, accounted for, and readied to be acted upon in an efficient manner so as to draw little attention. All the guns and ammo in the world will not save them ... think drones and Hellfire missiles ... the rest will just go along to get along.

Unless every one unites in one group, large and powerful, has lots and lots of money, stops bickering over the small issues that preoccupy them now ... there is no hope of success, just many small retreating skirmishes believing that some small win in some battle constitutes winning the war, until at last they are of no importance. That is now it worked then, and will work in the future.

Been there, done that. Lost.

At least when I get to Fiddler's Green, I'll be able to look my forefathers in the eye, and tell 'em I stood and fought, instead of folding up the tents when things got tough

Profound and true. That gets a rare dual-approval by both the Captain, and the Chief Medical Officer:

Biff, you asked us: How do we defeat tanks in our streets? How do we defeat Jug Ears air force? How do we defeat our neighbor who is a police officer? Where do we learn?

How did the Maquis defeat the Nazis? How did the Mujaheddin defeat the Soviets? How did the Ukrainians bring down their tyrants?

Gentlemen, I and others among you agree: the ballot box, the mail box and the jury box have failed us. It is rapidly approaching the time when we fall back to the next trench and crack open that next box.

Leaving these shores is never an option. Reagan admonished us that "If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth."

Travis and everyone at the Alamo knew it:

I shall never surrender or retreat... I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch... if this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country...

Bold Leonidas and the Three Hundred knew it:

No retreat, no surrender; that is Spartan law. And by Spartan law we will stand and fight... and all will know, that 300 Spartans gave their last breath to defend it!

And that most illustrious of poets knew it:

That he which hath no stomach to this fight,
Let him depart; his passport shall be made,
And crowns for convoy put into his purse;
We would not die in that man’s company
That fears his fellowship to die with us...
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s Day!

I bugged out from Seattle to here in 2011. I bought it two weeks before the 2008 election, and I thought McCain was going to win. :-P

I moved there in the spirit of Revelation 18:4. It guarantees nothing, but mitigates risk.
