Americans for Responsible Solutions, a national gun control organization founded by former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords and her husband, announced a campaign Wednesday to defeat a sweeping gun bill that would widely expand access to guns in Georgia.

TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Crime/Corruption; Culture/Society; US: Georgia
KEYWORDS: 2a; banglist; giffords; guncontrol; secondamendment
You will notice that mx.mark kelley-giffords (aka the puppet master) stands to gabby's left in order to access the pull string. Go back to AZ and leave law abiding citizens alone.

I just noticed that the ajc messed up and actually used the words “gun control” as opposed to “gun safety advocates” as called for in the anti-gun messaging guide book. Gun control nazis at it again.

Georgia. The state that passed one of the first gun bans in the USA back around 1845.

That ban was later thrown out by the STATE Supreme Court because it violated the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution.

When the people of your own state won’t listen to you - spread your cancer where you can is the motto of the left.

she is useless, this is her husband trying to find a political career on the bodies of the dead. Georgia was selected to split the SE.

The Oz puppet isn’t from here either.

Good luck with that. Georgia is gun central. The tribe has spoken. :-)

Sure hope GA stands it’s ground! VA caved in to pressure last year and now prohibits sales of military style weapons to non-residents. Despite having a VA concealed carry permit and being a property owner in VA, I was unable to purchase a very attractively priced AR to keep in my VA home. Point being, this assault on long gun sales is just the beginning. As Glen Beck would say, the Overton Window has moved to the left.

Pop on over the West Virginia border to any small town on flea market day, you can buy anything you want, and those mountain men with their table full of guns don't care if you're from Virginia, Russia or Mars as long as you bring your wallet.

Yes and no. Macon, Columbus, and Atlanta are cesspools of freedom hating gun grabbing politicians who are perpetually elected by EBT, SNAP, etc. using Democrat parasites. The suburbs and the rural areas are pro gun. The cities are not.

Gabbymouth needs to take her campaign to Arizona where she will, undoubtedly, have the backing of Jan Brewer who will go along with any 2% of the crowd.

Who knows what Jan was offered I hope she got it in writing and on tape. Someone got to her. I think she started running with the “elite” crowd up in Phoenix, and she does not have the backbone to stand up to the national press.

As long as we have a near super majority in the state House and Senate the denizens of Atlanta will be kept under control. Although Nathan Deal’s acceptance of Common Core is troubling. He is not the guy I thought he would be.

Who is this "we" you're referring to? Republicans? Republicans can be trusted about as far as you can throw them. Deal is no friend of freedom. Unless pressure is kept on these turkeys via snail mail, email, and phone calls they are likely to cave and vote anti-gun.

I’m not happy with Nathan Deal either. But our legislature has been doing the right thing. We have a lot of good republicans there. Still it never hurts to let them know.
