Obama's Impeachable Offenses Threaten Our System

The Democratic Party is using the threat of presidential impeachment to raise money. Its website warns that "Republicans have already held their first committee hearing on impeaching President Obama," and urges donors to protect the Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate.

That's one way to stop impeachment. Here's a better way:

Tell the president to obey the law.

Putting the nation through the ordeal of impeachment would be drastic. But the framers of the Constitution designed impeachment to stop precisely what President Obama is doing — grabbing for more power than the Constitution allows.

The nation has impeached a president only twice in over two 200 years, and in neither case did the president's alleged misdeeds threaten the survival of our system of government. This time is different.

At the Constitutional Convention in 1787, the framers worried about creating the office of president, fearing that whoever occupied it would try to act like King George III. America had just fought a war to stop that king's abuse of their freedoms.

But James Madison, George Mason and Edmund Randolph argued that impeachment could be used to prevent a president from seizing powers that belong to the people's elected lawmakers, the Congress. Mason asked, "Shall any man be above justice?"

Most framers were convinced, but not Marylander Luther Martin. He predicted that impeachment would seldom be used, if ever. He was right.

In fact, 80 years went by before impeachment was used against a president. In that instance, it was misused and wholly political.

There is now a growing concern that the House leaders who refuse to impeach Obama are also culpable as not defending the country they took and oath to defend.

Democrats are going to care a lot when a republican heads down this road and they will if it isn’t stopped here.

The SCOTUS is just as Culpable as the Congress in not allowing anyone to have standing to sue him from taking office, AND their horrendous rewriting of the Constitution in holding Clowncare as valid - first day or oral hearing it was determined it was NOT a tax and hence the law suit could proceed and later when Roberts issued his ruling it WAS A TAX.

WE THE PEOPLE HAVE NO VOICE IN OUR GOVERNENCE.

Our great success with Impeachment for Clinton was sorely tempered by the following failure to remove by the Senate.

We learned that under our current culture and political landscape, almost any criminality can be washed away as inconsequential misconduct causing persecution by political foes.

A Senate filled with full time politicians, will never convict without a huge majority groundswell of hatred for the Impeached offender.

How could Betsey McCaughey forget the impeachment of His Slickness? How could she not mention that?

The Democrats won't and don't have the same fears our pitiful and spineless Pubbies have and they would have already gone ahead with articles by now had this been a Republican President making the same moves.

Uh, - - - Betsy McCaughey, - - - yeah.

Here is the way it works: ANYTHING said, unsaid, done or not done in the District of Corruption by paid Federal Politicians is “wholly POLITICAL ! “ Accept it!

Of course Impeachment is a POLITICAL act!

The simple truth is that only POLITICIANS are allowed to Impeach each other!

We, the voting taxpayers, expect a return on our investment whenever a rogue violator of the US Constitution is allowed to freely destroy our Liberties!

Now is the time to POLITICALLY Impeach Soetoro-Obama!

Deal with it!

I have forever thought the same thing and it signaled to the MSM that the Pubbies have no stomache for impeachment or the rule of law. That, in turn, gave them more confidence in how they can shape and report events.

Also - who the hell who can a Majority Leader seriously when he wears a crap hat like this

Jim, I used to think our country was one of Constitutional laws. Sadly, I am of the belief that our country now is a dictatorship. My Senator, Jeff Sessions, was the AG of Alabama. I know he knows the laws, but yet he doesn’t call the WH out on it’s illegal moves. I think Congress has become irrelevant. America is just sitting around getting robbed by the thugs from Chicago. You know there is no way to legislatively fix our government. The Founders did give us, The American People, a way to fix things. Gettin’ ready brother!

Obama is a Chavez or Mugabe in the making, and I have seen very precious
people in government or otherwise who seem to be willing to stand up to this petty third-world tyrant.
