Mexican president 'indignant' at U.S. deportations

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto said he is "indignant" at the United States' deportation of Mexican migrants and described U.S. lawmakers as demonstrating a "lack of conscience" in failing to pass immigration reform.

In a television interview aired late on Wednesday Pena Nieto said he and U.S. President Barack Obama discussed the issue during their meeting at a North American leaders' summit held last week in Mexico.

His emboldened comments to Mexico's Univision channel followed days after his administration announced it had captured Mexico's most wanted man, drug lord Joaquin "Shorty" Guzman.

Pena Nieto has said any extradition of Guzman to the United States is likely to take time, underscoring the fact the drug lord still has outstanding time to serve in Mexico after a daring 2001 jail break, reportedly in a laundry cart.

"Yes it makes me indignant, and it makes Mexicans indignant," Pena Nieto said in the interview, when asked whether deportations angered him.

"There's a lack of conscience, something which shouldn't only alert and worry Mexicans, it should also worry the American government and they should take up the issue," said Pena Nieto.

Pena Nieto added that he sees a willingness on the part of the Obama administration to change immigration laws, and that reform which provides a path to citizenship should "have the backing and aid of the various political forces" in the United States.

Tough talk from a country who’s immigration laws are far tougher - and enforced far more vigorously - than ours.

Glass houses and all that, el Presidente’

These degenerate scumbags obviously haven't learned their lesson from the last time we invaded Mexico City.

One day soon there will be a POTUS who doesn't play nice with dirty Mexican parasites or musslemen psychopaths.

Nieto needs to realize that the party is almost over.

He is also indignant that there is a visa requirement for Mexicans to enter Canada and there is pressure for Canada to drop it and probably will at some point in the future but for now it is still there.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

I wonder if Nieto ever wonders why nobody is swimming across the Rio Grande at night to enter Mexico?

Could it be that you swim away from a shithole, not to it?

Ay caromba, what a pendejo!

Secure and Seal up the Border with all resources and then, we would not have to kowtow to Mexico for getting a most wanted man like Chapo Guzman. Good they got him but we could do better by having an ultra-secured border, that would keepout anyone illegally crossing as well.

Chapo Guzman I believe confessed to killing 2000-3000 people, will stay in Mexico as the article says, may get a luxury cell.

Pedro's clearly upset by the fact that more and more of his drug mules are being identified and kicked out of the country.Isn't Pedro the Mexican politician who's amassed a billion dollar fortune without ever having had a government "salary" of more than 10,000 pesos a year?

Kinda like the recently-assumed-room-temperature Commandante Hugo Chavez.

Mexican president says his administration captured Mexico's most wanted man, drug lord Joaquin "Shorty" Guzman....

Watta frickin' fraud this is-----this guy Pena is two burritos short of a fiesta----if he thinks Americans believe this crapola.

They found him so easily, my first thought was the ever-present Guzman hadn't paid off his usual "tithe" to Pena and the rest of the Mexican ---- such as a hefty percentage of his drug trafficking---and maybe a steady stream of senoritas expert in (ahem) Mexican calisthenics.

Now I'm thinking the apprehension is collusion and conspiracy---part of a deal w/ the lab specimen in the WH.

Could be Guzman is the lucky guy vote-crazed Boobamba chose to fellate on the steps of the Capitol----in order to get illegals to the midterm polls (cackle).
