Posted on 02/27/2014 6:50:28 PM PST by gooblah
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio took off the gloves in his battle with education reformers, rescinding an agreement for the city to share space with several public charter schools. The move undercuts educators, parents and some 700 students at four schools, including Harlem Success 4, one of the public charter school movements top success stories, and two set to open in the fall. While agreements at those schools were rescinded, expansion of a fourth school was also blocked. The schools were to operate rent-free in city-owned facilities under deals backed by former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an ardent supporter of charter schools.

As usual, Agreements mean nothing to the Communists,
Marxists, and DNC.
Contracts USED to mean something.
Now, all that matters is skin color and party affiliation.
Leave NY now. Public schools are open sewage.
NY public schools are open sewage with extra slimy Obamaturds floating on top.
Period. There is no argument.
This is settled science.
Deniers should be shot.
Doing the Teachers Union’s dirty work for them.
Children vs. education unions, kids lose every time.
Anyone who read the NY Post knew this guy was a commie. 20% turnout for a mayoral vote. He is all yours.
Well he was voted in so the residents must like it. I did read somewhere that the vote turnout was low but by not voting you are giving the green light to him and the decisions he will make.
I saw those TV Ads , come to NY State ,start a business no taxes for 10 years , LOL , SUCKER
De Blasio wants pre kindergarten paid for by a tax on the “rich”; a concept with no proof of success. Now he wants to cut a proven successful program. Both moves please the powerful teachers union. Typical progressive move.
Gotta keep the minorities on the plantation, don’t you know.
not even a naked kate upton could get me to move to ny.
Sounds just like DC where they ran the successful reformer out of town to satisfy the local goons from the teachers unions.
Everybody hates Bill de Blasio. Even the Dalai Lama said, “Bill de Blasio? I hate that man.”
What kind of man makes up his own name and puts a “de” in it?
^^No Communist, no matter how many
votes he should secure in a national
election, could, even if he would, become
President of the present government.
When a Communist heads the govern-
ment of the United States and that day
will come just as surely as the sun rises
the government will not he a capitalist
government hut a Soviet government, and
hehind this government will stand the
Red army to enforce the dictatorship of
the proletariat, ‘’
Sworn statement of
WILLIAM Z. FOSTER
Head of the Communist Party
in the United States
Warren Wilhelm is the new Jim Jones
“In 1951, [Reverend Jim] Jones (Jonestown) began attending communist meetings and rallies in Indianapolis. Jones became flustered at harassment he received during the McCarthy Hearings, particularly, regarding meetings between Jones and his mother with Paul Robeson. This, among other things, provoked a seminal moment for Jones where he asked himself “how can I demonstrate my Marxism? The thought was, infiltrate the church.””
“In the summer of 1977, Jones and most of the 900 members of the People’s Temple moved to Guyana from San Francisco after media pressure built. Jones left the same night that an editor at New West magazine read Jones an article by Marshall Kilduff to be published detailing allegations by former Temple members. Jones named the settlement Jonestown after himself.
Jones purported to establish Jonestown as a benevolent model communist community stating, ‘I believe were the purest communists there are.’ Jones’ wife, Marceline, described Jonestown as “dedicated to live for socialism, total economic and racial and social equality. We are here living communally.” Jones wanted to construct a model community to show others and stated that Prime Minister of Guyana Forbes Burnham ‘couldnt rave enough about us, uh, the wonderful things we do, the project, the model of socialism.’ In that regard, like the restrictive emigration policies of the then Soviet Union, Cuba, North Korea and other communist republics, Jones did not permit members to leave Jonestown.
Jones and several members argued that the group should commit “revolutionary suicide” by drinking cyanide-laced grape flavored Flavor Aid (often misidentified as Kool-Aid) along with a sedative.
One member, Christine Miller, dissents toward the beginning of the tape. When members apparently cried, Jones counseled “Stop this hysterics. This is not the way for people who are Socialists or Communists to die. No way for us to die. We must die with some dignity.” Jones can be heard saying, “Don’t be afraid to die” and, regarding death as “just stepping over into another plane” and that “[death is] a friend.” At the end of the tape, Jones concludes: “We didn’t commit suicide, we committed an act of revolutionary suicide protesting the conditions of an inhumane world.” Children were given the drink first and families were told to lie down together. The mass suicide had been discussed in simulated events called “White Nights” on a regular basis, while members drank liquid Jones first told them was poison during at least one of those White Nights.
A National Socialist want a successful private enterprise evicted?
Color me shocked.
Charles de Gaul?
A hero of the Poor.
If you go to Charles de Gaul’s grave, the last thing on his tombstone is, “And I hate Bill de Blasio”.
don’t forget sexual orientation and I don’t mean hetero.
I have it on good authority that Jesus also mentioned at the last supper how much he hated Bill de Blasio.
“dont forget sexual orientation and I dont mean hetero.”
I think you mean “de hetero” don’t you?
“I saw those TV Ads , come to NY State ,start a business no taxes for 10 years , LOL , SUCKER”
NY State sucks for a lot of reasons.
DiBlasio is a mayor of a city. He doesn’t have jack to do with NY State.
NY City is a very tiny part of NY State, area wise.
Unfortunately it also has the bulk of the State’s population and so gets to decide all elections. And as a result, NY State gets screwed every time.
n’sot even a naked kate upton could get me to move to ny.
I wouldn’t even move next door if that’s where she lived. She’s already overweight and ten years from now she’ll just be another Kirsty Ally (sp?) that is a lard ass, unless she begins some type of diet and fitness program.
I spent a total of maybe 6 months in NY in the early 1960’s, when my carrier was in the old Brooklyn Navy Shipyard on two different occasions. Times were good at Moriarty’s on Kings Hwy. and 18 was the drinking age. .....After watching the sad decline of NYC via politics, crime, foreigners who refuse to assimilate with American ideals, etc., I would never go there again. ......DeBlasio the Communist is only hastening the distruction of NYC and the people should rise up and toss him out... quickly!
The public school teachers’ unions are the de facto owners of the Democratic Party, as evidenced by the fact that even if Obama is talking about landing on the moon again he’ll throw in something about hiring 100,000 new teachers. When everything is seen from that viewpoint, everything the Dems do is logical (even if it is destructive to the nation). Among their pet projects: Amnesty to keep asses in the classroom seats, government-subsidized abortion on demand to eliminate children from “inferior” (in their eyes) races, and always higher taxes to subsidize their political arm (the Democratic Party). It is no coincidence that DeBlasio also wants full-day pre-K all over the city; it will transfer more taxpayer wealth to his party.
I warned people about the similarities re: Obama and Jones when he ran for senate in Chicago. I begged them to watch the full show on You Tube.
It blew minds.
Warned about this one too... no one listens.
I trudge on anyway.
