Eric Holder Asks State Attorneys General To Ignore Law

Corruption: Attorney General Eric Holder wants his counterparts at the state level to treat the rule of law with the same contempt and selectivity that he and his boss in the White House employ.

'We the people" and "consent of the governed" are important American concepts that Holder and his boss, President Obama, do not understand. They've made it clear by spreading their creeping lawlessness among the attorneys general of the 50 states.

We acknowledge the doctrine of prosecutorial discretion, which provides those charged with enforcing our laws in the courts with the authority to decide which particular cases merit pursuing.

However, this power does not extend to deciding which laws passed by the duly elected representatives of the people may be enforced.

Obama and Holder took oaths to see that the laws of the United States are faithfully executed, an oath both have ignored.

Obama, armed with his pen and his phone, has routinely ignored the courts, Congress and the Constitution. He's governed through regulations and executive orders like some banana republic dictator.

From unconstitutional recess appointments to the unlawful treatment of the statutory requirements of his own signature legislation, Obama operates as if laws are written on an Etch-A-Sketch. He has adopted the imperial attitude of a despot who believes the ends justify the means.

This is the fault of Columbia U. for not arresting
Holder-the-Career-Criminal when he broke into the
President’s Office.

No accountability. EVER.

Do we need any more evidence that America is run by a communists empire with King Obama at the head. The entire Administration is under the communists control and will not change unless its leaders are impeached.

Good and right back at ya. Helps my case in ignoring Obamacare and their other unjust, invalid, and unconstitutional "laws" which Blackstone of old would call "no laws."

Too bad Holder’s doctrine doesn’t apply to Obamacare!

As menioned in related thread, if patriots and former Obama supporters can organize to elect 2/3 conservative majority control in each House of Congress in 2014 elections, then Obama regime's glory days are over. Congress will have constitutional authority, under Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes.

The most telling example of what a pathetic banana-republic America has become.

It would be nice if there were an actual “opposition” Party combatting all this. But our so-called opposition is so scared and cowardly (if not deviant and corrupted themselves) that it won’t even stand up against the homo-fascists and their depraved agenda.

America is truly in a death-spiral.

Sorry, I wish I could share your enthusiasm….

I can’t see our dumbed down society today getting the job done.

I’ll be thrilled if I turn out to be wrong…….

Since the chief law enforcement officer in the country feels free to ignore laws he disagrees with, the implication is that every citizen may do the same thing. Otherwise, there would be unequal treatment before the law, which is against the Constitution.

Can’t happen. If Republicans win all Dem seats in 2014, they will only have 59 seats in the Senate.

The Republicans can stop Obama with the numbers that have now. All they have to do is refuse to pass bills that fund his programs. They won't because they all support that same Globalist Agenda.

With all due respect basil, I'm glad that I don't share your pessimism about what patriots and former Obama supporters can do in 2014 elections.

From a related thread ...

If patriots and former Obama supporters can organize to elect 2/3 conservative majority control of each House of Congress in 2014 elections, then Congress will be positioned as follows.

Congress controlled by a conservative supermajority will have the power, under the Constitution's Section 2 of Clause 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes. This means that Congress will be able to repeal constitutionally indefensible Obamacare Democratcare, for example, without Obama's signature.

Note that Congress has used its power to override presidential vetoes as recently as Bushes 41 & 43 and Clinton.

List of United States presidential vetoes

Also note that the pages at the following links show voter frustration with Obama and Senate.

FR: Poll: 71% of Obama voters, 55% Democrats 'regret' voting for his re-election

FR: Senate Democrats are in big trouble in 2014

With all due respect lepton, I didn't say anything about Republicans versus Democrats. I'm careful to mention "conservatives." This is because Congress has used its power to override presidential vetoes as recently as recently as Bushes 41 & 43 and Clinton.

The Republicans RINOs can stop Obama with the numbers that have now.

I have my doubts about what RINOs will do.

I had considered your use of the word ‘conservative’. I still come to the same conclusion.

That said, perhaps some Dems and non-conservative Repubs can be intimidated into doing the right thing.

Sounds like time for writs of mandamus from federal judges when partisan elected officials refuse to carry out their duties.
