BOSTON (AP) — An FBI agent overheard Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev make a "statement to his detriment" when his sister visited him in prison, federal prosecutors said Friday.

Prosecutors did not reveal what Tsarnaev said, but they objected to what they called an attempt by Tsarnaev's lawyers to suppress the statement....

[snip]

Tsarnaev, 20, has pleaded not guilty in the terrorist attack at last year's marathon. Two pressure cooker bombs were placed near the marathon finish line, killing three people and wounding more than 260....

[snip]

Tsarnaev's lawyers say the presence of the FBI agent during prison visits by Tsarnaev's two sisters "has thwarted the defense ability to develop important mitigation information"... [snip] including evidence on "family dysfunction, mental illness and the impact of family chaos on the defendant as he grew up."

So this is what, Holder’s peeps setting up a mistrial before it ever goes there?

Shirley, this is the first time I have ever heard of a story like this, because for reasons, instances like this are buried deep in court and case files.

WTF. Holder’s peeps at work.

I’m sure that Tsarnaev doesn’t give an Islamic damn about what he says.

And do his lawyers actually think that he is innocent?

They can’t be that stupid, or can they?

Holder’s peeps at work...

Holder AND his peeps represented terrorists way back in BØ time (BØ = In the Year Before Our Ø). They surely want to continue their work, and know how to do it regardless of the actual role in play, from defense lawyer, to prosecution lawyer, to judge to court stenographer. They ALL Have a role to play to achieve their ends.

Leftists have always felt terrorists were cool. Americans should think about that before they elect them to run the country.

They care if he did it. They intended to do anything to get him off. Next they’ll sue for the death of his brother.

So who has been arrested for letting the terrorist
in without a PASSPORT?

Anyone?

Anyone arrested for ignoring the warning of attack
by the Russians?

Anyone?

NOPE.

The First Moslem Tyrant-by-Fraud supports terrorists,
along with the DH”S” and DO”J”.
The America which we knew is DEAD, finished,
because of the CRIMINALS ISSA and CUMMINGS who
laughed, partied, and got drunk.

NSA: "Shut up. We're busy tracking the Tea Party, members of Congress, and Angela Merkel."

I presume that the enemy soldier Tsarnaev wants to use his trial as a forum to brag about his tactical success, his brother’s martyrdom, and the ultimate triumph of Islam.

It’s cute that our leaders are treating this as a criminal matter, as if the whole panoply of “admissions against interest” and “rules of evidence” are significant to Tsarnaev, when they almost certainly are not.

Step one is to drop the “terrorist” label, and the absurdly misleading “war on terror”. Using the term “enemy soldiers” might help Americans awaken from their slumber, and it’s much, much more accurate.

I was thinking something along those lines too.

“mitigate”....... to appear to earn their fees, the lawyers must appear to be doing something. Their list of possible courses is short, but to mitigate is to appear to be doing something of value

The Brits have within little more than a year since the crime have tried and sentenced the Muslim terrorists who murdered a British soldier. Sadly the Brits no longer have capital punishment.

The Boston Bomber will hang around for years before going to trial and even if he gets the death sentence it will well be decades before justice is done. Given the evidence against Tsarnaev there is no reason his trial should be delayed more than a year. If there were swift justice he would be executed before the next Marathon. A public hanging on Boston Common at the start of the Marathon would be fitting for this puke.

In the late 1990s, while the hijackers were training for the 9-11 attacks IN America, BJ Clinton had the FBI investigating a phony "rash" of "racist" church fires in the south.

Democrats will not protect you. They will target you as political "traitors" and manufacture crimes and witchhunts to pursue you.
