Warren Buffett's conglomerate Berkshire Hathaway posted a record profit in 2013, jumping 31 percent over the previous year, the company said in its annual report, released on Saturday.
Profit for the full year rose to $19.5 billion from $14.8 billion in 2012.
Net income rose to $4.99 billion in the fourth quarter, or $3,035 per Class A share, from $4.55 billion, or $2,757 per share, a year earlier.

That is great. Good to see some companies doing well. Goodness the retail stores are not doing well. A little ray of sunshine is good.

Secondariy we hope to develop Coal gasification cause its green. My nephew is a Chem Eng and works at a Coal Gasification in Beulah North Dakota for over 30 years! The processes were developed in NAZI Germany and were captured and brought to the US at the end of the war. No we don’t! He’s a cheat who has learned to play monopoly with the corrupt system very well — and some have copied him to a degree.
He gets no admiration from me. I put him in the same category as union thugs, the EPA, algorebull warming, etc. All of them say what they have to in order to get what’s good for them.
