The Night Wolves are Russia’s largest motorbike club, with over 5,000 members.
Fiercely patriotic, they believe that “wherever the Night Wolves are, that should be considered Russia”.
On Saturday, the Night Wolves organised a mass ride from the northeast of Ukraine through the Russian speaking eastern regions to the Crimea.
They wanted to hand out supplies to pro-Russian militia forces there.
A member of the club's local chapter said: “We don’t want what happened in Kiev to happen here. Nazis and bandits have seized power there. And if we have to fight, we’ll fight with everything we can get our hands on.”

Every good KGB operation needs it’s unofficial thugs. This is from an article prior to the invasion. I read where they helped replace several mayors and city council prior to the invasion. I will dig for that article. I expect yo see this pattern in the next northern state until someone stops Putin.
Vladimir Putin’s motorcycle gang is riding into Ukraine
Here comes the cavalry. As Moscow weighs how to handle the political situation unfolding in Kiev, Vladimir Putin’s motorcycle gang, a group named the Night Wolves, whom Putin has called his “brothers,” is wasting no time making their allegiances clear. The group is staging a ride across the border into Ukraine to rally pro-Russian protesters.
As Ukraine transforms itself in a new era, all eyes have been on Russia to see how strongly Putin will try to strong-arm the nation back under the control of Mother Russia and push it away from European integration. Ukranian president Viktor Yanukovych fled to Russia and the Kremlin is thought to be harboring him. And Putin has said it has yet to decide whether to withhold funds from the country’s new leadership.
The move by the Night Wolves is the latest sign that Putin intends to apply some muscle to keep Ukraine under Russian influence. Alexander Zaldostanov, the group’s leather-clad, pony-tailed leader nicknamed “The Surgeon,” said, “Tomorrow people are organizing an action called Russian Spring.”
Last year Putin personally awarded Zaldostanov with a state honor after he and his crew helped restore a monument “symbolic of Soviet war heroism” in Volgograd, reports AFP—the same city where separatist suicide bombers killed 34 late in the same year.
“The column will start at 8:00 am and ride across the whole eastern part of Ukraine,” Zaldostanov said.
Zaldostanov said he was personally going to Crimea, an area that has emerged as critical in the unfolding conflict, with many residents loyal to Ukraine’s ousted leadership. Zaldostanov said he was going to deliver “humanitarian aid.”
The Kiev branch of the Night Wolves writes that their mission is to “spread Russian influence around the world.”

I found the article where this group helped replace the mayor days before the invasion. This happened on 2-25 in Sevastopol.
My question is is this biker gang going to keep going and creating unrest so Putin can save the day along his boarder.
“We will not submit to the regime in Kiev,” Dmitry Sinichkin, president of the local branch of motorcycle club the Night Wolves told the crowd in Sevastopol.
The Night Wolves are closely linked to Russia’s political elite. Putin has visited the group in the city several times, on one occasion in 2010 riding a three-wheeled Harley Davidson alongside the bikers.
After his speech, Sinichkin told RIA Novosti that fresh bloodshed in Ukraine’s ongoing political crisis was inevitable.
Rally-goers waved the Russian red, white and blue tricolor and yelled the football fan-style chant of “Ros-si-ya, Ros-si-ya, Ros-si-ya,” as they endorsed calls to create self-defense squads with police cooperation and withhold taxes from Kiev.

I have sent this biker stuff to Glenn. I think this is important because all was good in these city’s prior to the bikers organizing these changes. I suspect they are in city’s to the north and we will see unrest spreading soon.
