PEREVALNE, Ukraine (AP) — Just inside the main gate to the military base, four young Ukrainian soldiers stood in the middle of the road, as if somehow they alone could stop what was on the other side.
They were hardly an intimidating group. They were young and unarmed and didn't look like they had ever been anywhere near combat. One, the soldier whose eyes kept blinking nervously, didn't look old enough to shave.

What checks did the Ukrainians write? Weren’t they the ones the Russkies had them write? The GRU was involved in this from the start. There are documents showing their working together with the Ex-President, even encouraging him to use violence against the protestors. It’s starting to look like this whole crisis was planned by the Russkies from the start so they could take military control over Ukraine. The question is, will the Russkies go for all of Ukraine, just Crimea, or half?
Despite their youth and inexperience, any one of them is more a man than Obama will ever be.
Nice and pithy, but we’re talking about Russians here . . . what do you expect the Ukrainians to do?

What? You mean like the Poles in September 1939? Seriously, who just sent troops into whose country? The Russians are INVADERS. They’re in the wrong. Just like Germans/Nazis in 1939.
Tom Clancy’s last novel, Command Authority, is based on a plot that is eerily similar to what’s happening in Ukraine now.

Except there were no “marauders and terrorists” in Poland harming ethnic Germans in 1939. That was just Nazi propaganda.
Herr Goebbels would be deeply troubled that you fail to believe the official government news reports. I suppose you don’t even believe that a radio tower has been attacked within the border of the Reich.
