Another bad part of this is that China now has a better measure to act by.

Ahmmmm.... there is no bloodshed from Putin actions. His troops were welcomed with no opposition.

Your the first one that has mentioned that about China that I’ve seen. China may decide to act on the Senkaku Islands before the election of 2016.

Putin has looked into Obama's eyes and seen into his heart (and probably looked into his past) and knows what he's up against. And he doesn't think much of it.

On the other side, I see a sock puppet made and controlled by 1960's radical leftist academicians with lots of theory and no practical experience in anything. While the latter also has a relatively large military and intercontinental nuclear weapons, he has no idea how to effectively use either.LOL! Very good, more detailed assessment than my oversimplified generalization. Thanks, EricT.

Weakness is the new strength and strength is the new weakness. Hmmm - Seems I've heard that meme somewhere else. Something about a helpful, cozy Big Brother guy or something.
The more Putin does, the more he shows that hes another Sarah Palin or Mitt Romney, a déclassé bumpkin unfit for the modern 21st century realities of discussing foreign policy on Jay Leno and cracking wise about horses and bayonets.
The Pee Wee Herman response - "I know you are - but what am I?"
These GD idiots are going to end up getting a bunch of us killed. Americans are so stupid that they think that foreign affairs don't matter - until they do.

Obama should be looking for common interests. One such interest is ending the bloodshed, Kaplan suggested.
Someone needs to inform Obama the CCCP went under for a reason.

What Obama fails to realize is he is not dealing with somebody he can threaten, bluster, and roll over every time - like the Republicans. He is dealing with some genuinely tough people who know what they want and how to get it and they are not deterred by John Kerry type nuances.
Maybe he should just stick to playing golf, taking lavish vacations, and beating up on pushovers like John Boehner and Mitch McConnell?

"Russia is in violation of its international obligations, he bleated. Despite presenting a ceremonial potato to the Russian Foreign Minister, Kerry didnt seem to understand that Russia cares about its international obligations almost as much as his boss cares about the United States Constitution."
It needs to be pointed out that, as weak as Obama's response to Russia invading the Ukraine, the similarities of the Republican's response to Obama's "invasion" of the Constitution is just as weak. I saw Lindsey Graham on Fox this morning making hay over Obama's weakness. Lindsey,(and the rest of the GOP) this is how we feel when we look at you and your weakness while we watch Obama ravage our county and Constitution. Mean while you keep sending strongly worded letters.

Selfishness, fear, deliberate blindness, and a lackluster defense, plus the absence of any true caring, are the attitudes of America today. There are exceptions but wrath is heaped on them in deluge amounts.
God help America. We seem to be willing to fall for anything and keep quiet.
Father forgive us our sins, turn out thoughts to serving Thee, and standing strong, and seeking good for all men.
We are in the process of the failure of America and most are doing NOTHING!!!
Turn to God in repentance and in truth turn from evil words, actions, deeds and everyday become more like Jesus Christ. Love God and love your fellow man, in Jesus name, amen.
