NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) The New York Police Department has issued changes to how its officers deal with fare beaters following an internal review and a controversial arrest made in the Bronx last week. As TV 10/55′s Don Champion reported Friday, a tense cellphone video has not only gone viral, but also sparked changes within the NYPD. I just thought somebody needs to see this, said Dariel Reyes, who shot the cellphone video. Moments before the video started, officers had approached the man at the center of the incident and asked to see his bus receipt as he exited the BX12 bus at Pelham Parkway and White Plains Road, Champion reported. The officer just held him tight. The guy is saying I have my ticket, I paid and I have proper ID and as you can see in the video, it escalated from that, Reyes recalled.

One thing that tyranny can't resist is exposure. Cops everywhere do dastardly deeds and nobody calls them on it. Cell phone cameras are changing this. Slowly.
Defund city hall.
You’re the absolute best!
God bless and keep you, dearest musicman!
Thanks! The guitarist on the far end is wearing a kilt in my clan’s “hunting” tartan... ‘-)
Clan Craig, at your service! http://www.scotclans.com/scottish_clans/clan_craig/
Gee, I don't know. I'm afraid America isn't what we thought. Maybe it never was. The vast majority LIKE thug cops. They LIKE the TSA sadism. They like war and torture. Waco and the Elian fiasco were two of Clinton's most popular acts. Janet Reno will die a beloved figure.
Name one politician or (big time) talk radio host who ever utters a negative word about cops.
True. But technology may change that. We shall see.
I don’t know why this issue is not explored. We, the U.S. needs to have an honest debate about the role and expectations of our Police.
It may happen. If it doesn’t I predict dire consequences. Police will shoot more often, and so will citizens. Nobody wins in a free for all.
Clan Macpherson, at yours! '-)
My (military-pleated) kilt is in the "Red Macpherson" sett shown large. My son was married in our "Dress" tartan shown below, and many non-clan pipe bands and other folk wear our "Hunting" tartan (which is also effective camouflage amongst the rocks and heather)...
Vive Deco et Vives
I cannot decipher yours. What does that mean?
