Obama ‘Living in a Fantasy World’: Krauthammer Takes on Admin’s Foreign Policy

A “Special Report” panel tonight discussed the crisis in Ukraine and an editorial in the Washington Post entitled, “President Obama’s foreign policy is based on fantasy.”

“To go into Ukraine and detach and take over [and] to invade Crimea is a huge step and [Putin] would only have done it with a president who has shown from the very beginning that he is living in a fantasy world,” Charles Krauthammer said.

Krauthammer noted that Obama gave a speech at the beginning of his presidency saying that no nation can or should dominate another.

“I mean, there’s not a 12 year old in the world who believes that,” Krauthammer said.

Krauthammer said Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry “imagine the world as a new, interconnected world where climate change is the biggest threat, and they are shocked that the Russians actually are interested in territory.”

This story is a bookend to the one with the Republican National Chairman.

Anyone being witness to this bizarre manifestation of political theater has got to be terrified. Over time, we have been watching him disintegrate, unravel, observing in abject surreality the seeming ineptitude, incompetence he would demonstrate in exceedingly revealing manner,and all we could possibly muster would be to shake our heads in disbelief, wondering how it all managed to happen.

But there still always remained the sense that he had the cognitive wherewithal to know exactly what he was doing, whatever it was.

But now, in the midst of one of the most destabilizing events in decades, even the very least of expectations about him has shown to be giving him much more credit than we ever imagined.

So, where is the intellectual, political bottom to this man(besides the obvious)? How low do we have to go before we get to feel some sense of confidence in him seemingly know what he's doing?

Some of us are already expressing the fact that we're talking about an infinite bottomless abyss, I'm afraid.

Nah...lesser evil. It’s the result of gutless republicans standing aside and ALLOWING his global warming/gay/racism fantasies to rule American policy here and abroad.

We are seeing the direct result of ALLOWING this madness because people accepted lesser evil instead of pushing for principle. The left is what it is. Always has been in fantasyland. But it was our collective responsibility to hold that back and or stop it from growing. Instead, many of ‘us’ embraced it.

There is a pretty good argument to be made that some people just do not deserve freedom. I’d say anyone who willingly pisses it away deserves the life they chose when they WERE free. But once it’s gone, it’s gone. And they can deal with the outcome they desired.

An impression made possible by a media that made him a messiah and declared him to be of superior intelligence with highly advanced genetic makeup and it was swallowed hook line and sinker by a large part of the electorate.

That can only happen in a place where many sarcastically reject G-d and enthusiastically accept a human as god.
