JOHANNESBURG (AP) -- Former U.S. Rep. Mel Reynolds says he is in hiding in South Africa following his deportation from Zimbabwe because he believes his life is in danger.
He told The Associated Press in a telephone interview that he believes he is being pursued by a secret Zimbabwean death squad because of information he has on American businessmen, especially from Chicago, who are doing business illegally with Zimbabwe.

Hold on here. You mean to tell me a black congressman is not being railroaded by white politicians? Could the death squad he talks of possibly be the fathers and brothers of the underage girls he filmed for porn while in Zimbabwe?
Let me guess — he’s hiding in Oscar Pistorius’s bathroom.
I wonder if he is finding more underage prostitutes in S. Africa?
I wonder if this story will be the subject of next year’s Oscar for best picture? Actually, probably not.
This is the same guy who was a rising star among the RATS and a Harvard grad?
Notice how the AP never got around to mentioning that
he’s a Democrat?
“12 Years a Pedophile”
1994: Mel Reynolds resigns from Congress after being caught with a 16 year old girl
... causing an Illinois state senator to resign her seat to run for Reynolds seat in the House
... letting a part time college lecturer from Chicago with powerful friends slide into her Illinois State Senate seat unopposed
... and the rest is history.
If he was Republican the headline would read “Former Uncle Tom Republican Pedophile Pornographer Congressman Stalking my New Victims in South Africa”
Bob Menendez is en route to Johannesburg
I hope he has to stay hiding out in South Africa for the rest of his life.
Mel the Molester of Under Aged Catholic Girls KNOWS something about Chicago Businessmen??? HMMMMMMMMMMMMM, now THAT would be interesting to hear!!
“...he believes his life is in danger.”
Well, we can only hope!
