CA Gov.: The Nation Needs to be Competitive and Alert, Not Stoned

Democrat Governor Jerry Brown opposed marijuana legalization during an interview on Meet the Press Sunday. By advertising and codifying the drug, Brown feared its acceptance and use could lead to a less alert and less competitive population.

The problem with anything, a certain amount is okay. But there is a tendency to go to extremes. And all of a sudden, if there's advertising and legitimacy, how many people can get stoned and still have a great state or a great nation? The world's pretty dangerous, very competitive. I think we need to stay alert, if not 24 hours a day, more than some of the potheads might be able to put together.

Moonbeam. What the heck is up with that? Probably still thinks that gettin' stoned/bombed/loaded should be reserved for the "elite" folks. I guess he knows the evils since he walks the streets of Oakland huh? What an ididot.

Until Obama staggered onto the scene, Brown was the biggest Choomer in high public office.

Funny,That’s how Jerry stumbled through life up to this point.I guess he wants enough responsible adults around to be able to catch him when he falls.

What ‘greatness’ is he expecting from us after Obama is done with us and Hillary starts in?

There’s some real irony here. Surely the Guv knows the biggest part of his constituency has to smoke dope. He might not have been elected if so many Californians weren’t high.

Why do we need to be competitive and alert if all we have to do is walk out to the mailbox to see if the government check came at the beginning of each month?

I have no problem with dopers doing all the drugs they want on the following conditions:

1.) they are cut off from all welfare

2.) employers can hire or fire them at will

3.) landlords can kick them out at will

4.) restrictive covenants are legalized

5.) police can lean on them for vagrancy, loitering, and public intoxication

Surely the Guv knows the biggest part of his constituency has to smoke dope

He is ok with enough are dopers to elect him, but he also knows the rest of the slaves are like designated drivers.

Someone has to earn enough to support all the dopers;

A stoned voter is a Democrat voter. Big deal if Jerry Brown says something contrarian here. He signs on board for all other lib idiocies like high speed rail

Choomery is for the rulers. He wants his slaves working at the usual pace.

I saw the interview. I’m pretty sure he was far from “Alert.” Frankly, he looked stoned to the bone.

‘How about you. You retired too?’

‘Not me. I’m in my prime.’

‘Yeah, you look it.’

"Probably still thinks that gettin' stoned/bombed/loaded should be reserved for the "elite" folks. I guess he knows the evils since he walks the streets of Oakland huh? What an ididot."

It turns out, that legalizing it reserves it even more for the elite.
