The largest European refinery caught on fire today. The refinery happens to be in Russia.

It will take months to get production back up. Jalopnik reported:

Amazingly, no one was injured when Europe’s largest oil refinery, like, totally burned with the force of a thousand suns yesterday. And obviously it’s in Russia.P

The refinery is OJSC TANECO, formerly known as the Nizhnekamsk refinery, in Tartarstan. If you get into your Lada and drive due East from Moscow, you’ll get there in about 14 hours.P

Reuters reports that the fire was put out the same evening it started and there were no injuries. It will take a few months to get production back up.P

From your link:

In 2012, the manufacturing operation of the complex was brought to its processing capacity of 7,000,000 tons (translated)

7,000,000 metric tons of crude oil equal 51.31 million barrels per year or 140,575 barrels per day.

Just out of curiosity why did you put the source as Breitbart? The link is to The Gateway Pundit and they just copied an article from Jalopnik which quotes Reuters and English Russia.

This article says that the refinery processed 8.26 million tonnes of oil in 2013. According to BP's website, there is a 7.33 conversion ratio, so take that and then divide by 365 days. It comes out to 165,878 barrels per day.
