Brian Walsh tweet: "Guess we will see down the road if refusing to support your state's senior Senator & publicly undercutting him is smart long-term politics."

Suporting “senior” senators is what has gotten this country in the mess it is in today....i.e. Aholes like Dingy Harry, Lindsey Graham, and others from both parties. Time to kick some incumbent ass.

As an early voter in Texas, I was extremely disappointed that we couldn’t find anyone better than Stockman and Stovall. I admit, My son and I voted for Stovall, not because I knew anything about him but our votes were protest votes against Cornyn. Neither guy ran a campaign. If they raised any money it sure wasn’t used in their campaigns. I honestly think Dan Patrick would have given Cornyn a real fight and the fact is that if Cruz and Palin endorsed Patrick, he’d have beat Cornyn.

I’m really bummed. Even though I thought Stockman and Stovall were clowns, I was so hoping we could put Cornyn into a runoff just to send a message.

Generally we had very good news from the Texas primary. It’s a very auspicious start for the 2014 election year.

Let’s keep it up folks.

PS - Cruz cruises and I LOVE TEXAS!

Walsh is a creep and should be declared persona non grata by Conservatives.

One word from Cruz for Stockman or Stovall and the Cornyman would have been toast.

I can see his position though...but damn...just damn I want to see this weasel gone as much as Hutchinson is gone.

His most significant opponent was…well…eccentric to put it politely.

Ted Cruz appears smart enough to endorse those who are solid candidates and already have at least a reasonable if not good chance at winning. He's not going to make the mistakes Sarah Palin did and spend his political capital on losers. It's one thing to be the push across the finish line. It's quite another to drag something up from the murky bottom to the surface.

Cornyn’s opposition didn’t appear to be substantial. But it shouldn’t matter much if McConnell is ousted.

Cornyn appears to me to be a toadie, meaning he will vote the way he is told by the person controlling or enabling his cashflow.

And that means if Tea Party senators can increase in numbers and influence, the Cornyn vote will follow.

Eventually he should be voted out but as it stands now the game is to get Tea Party conservatives in control of the leadership, then the Cornyn types like Hatch and Alexander will fall in line.

Focus on taking over the leadership, all else follows from that point.

At least one RINO group mailed out voter guides with Ted Cruz’s picture on the front.

Taking out Cornyn was a long shot but we made him spend 6 million of his 8 million. Incumbents like to keep that, but ohh, too bad!

“Wow — we all knew John Cornyn was going to win last night. “

I guess redstate.com is totally ignorant of freerepublic.com.

“Ted Cruz needs to stretch his legs in Republican primaries outside Texas.”

If Cruz tries his usually schtick in Ohio, he is going to get smacked down.

After reading posts on FR for months and all the talk about bad weather, only the diehards showing up, crawling thru glass to vote for his opponent etc, I’m thinking how did Cornyn gather 62 percent?
