Stockman came out with so many attention-getting things that just seemed so absurd. He was beginning to sound ridiculous. I don’t live in TX, so I don’t really know him, but I’d say that he thought he could get attention by his antics instead of trying to run on principles and policy. I saw little of that, but lots of grandstanding.

Cornyn spent tons of $$$ promoting himself as a super conservative who fought ObamaCare.

If what I heard is true, Cornyn spent $6 million to get less than 800K votes, or about $8 per vote. It worked for the early voting crowd, as his % went down for those who voted yesterday.

Was Cornyn’s opponent that strong? From the margins it appeared that Stockman didn’t run a very good campaign.

There were few, if any ads for Stockman or Stovall. There were many ads targeting Stockman, but these were paid for by a 3rd party group that was obviously supporting Cornholio. Cornyn's ads all attacked Obama. If the Cornyn of those ads actually existed, I would have been proud to vote for him. FWIW, I voted for Stovall.

The interesting thing was the disparity of the turnout. Abortion Barbie won the 'rat nomination with something like 400,000 votes. Abbott received about a million more votes. The 'rats did not come out for this primary.

Here’s where I remain conflicted.....tell me the honest to goodness between your average RAT and John Wayne McCornyn?

You have no idea on how many times over the past 12 years that I have contacted McCornyn to implore him to support the Conservative Agenda and NOT vote to confirm people like Sotomayor, Hanoi John Effin Kerry, Chuckwad Hagel and so on. The many times that I have asked him to vote against rairing the Debt Limit, to control Federal Spending and so on down the line.

Why on earth should I vote “for” McCornyn when he acts just like a RAT? Why not just vote “for” the RAT, who at the very least, will not pi$$ on my boots and then tell me that it’s only rain?

I am dead serious on this.

Why in the world would you support a candidate found guilty of misleading investors? It doesn’t matter that his partner hasn’t been sued.

The fact is that this guy is going to be flayed as a financial hypocrite and fraudster if he gets in a general election against a Dem.

Putting up flawed candidates is a recipe for election disaster.

Because I think it’s a sham and fixed and Brannon is appealing. I find it curious that this lawsuit popped up just at the time when Brannon tied or exceeded Establishment Tillis against Hagan.

Both Brannon and his partner WERE sued on the same charge, but one is found guilty and one let off the hook, and the one found guilty just happens to be running for office.

I guess it depends on your perspective. By all objective standards, ie organization ratings, Cornyn is the 2nd or 3rd most conservative member of the Senate, above Rand Paul and Mike Lee.

I’m from MO, so I’ll tell ya this. Give me Cornyn over Claire McAsskill anytime.

Tell me again just how John Wayne McCornyn isn’t coming across as just another RAT in RINO clothing? I am seriously asking. How is he different than Juan McLame, Linda Graham or Susan Collins or Chuck Schumer for that matter?

I’m not seeing it.

Has Claire McAsskill stapped TED CRUZ and MIKE LEE in the back as many times as John Wayne McCornyn has?

And the fact of the matter is that the same John Wayne McCornyn is NOT the second most conservative member of the Senate by any measure. I can name 3 off the top of my head that are demonstrably more conservative and not break a sweat in doing so.

TED CRUZ. MIKE LEE. TIM SCOTT.

Democrat Kesha Rogers is running off against that dentist in the rat primary, if your read the article at Breitbart Texas, one might suspect she is a trojan horse. The TX Rat leadership admitted to ‘pulling out all the stops’ to end her run.

Pro-life and speaks at TEA events. I’m going to investigate her further... since leadership hates her so much.

IOW, you see JOHN WAYNE MCCORNYN as being FLAWLESS?

I don’t know about you, but I view Collaborating with the Enemy as being a serious character flaw.

McAsskill is a frickin’ lefty Dem...she’s gonna vote 100% lefty, 100% of the time. She’s gonna vote for Harry Reid 100% of the time. Stick with Obama 100% of the time.

Meanwhile, back in the real world...

Hey, I have no problem at all with McAsskill being ejected from the Senate. Never said that she shouldn’t be.

My problem is with Squishy, Back-Stabbing, Quislings that call themselves “Republicans” or “Conservatives” that give Aid & Comfort to the Enemy (RAT Party).

I believe that both RATs and RINOs need to be destroyed with Extreme Prejudice at each and every opportunity.

“For The Children”, of course.

As much as I DETEST John 'Wayne' McCornyn, the makeup of the U.S. Senate is extremely important in many ways as I am sure you are well aware. That's why.

I am dead serious on this.
