Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton referred Wednesday to Russian President Vladimir Putin as “a tough guy with a thin skin.” Clinton was speaking at UCLA where she added she supported the Obama administration’s efforts to reach a diplomatic solution in Ukraine.
Clinton reiterated comments she made at a fundraiser in California on Tuesday afternoon, where she compared Russia’s decision to issue passports in the Crimean region to the “population transfers” carried out by Nazi Germany before World War II.
“The claims by President Putin and other Russians that they had to go into Crimea and maybe further into Eastern Ukraine because they had protect the Russia minorities,” Clinton said Wednesday, “that is reminiscent of claims that were made back in the 1930s when Germany under the Nazis kept talking about how they had to protect German minorities in Poland, in Czechoslovakia, and elsewhere throughout Europe. So I just want everybody to have a little historic perspective. I’m not making a comparison certainly, but I am recommending that we perhaps can learn from this tactic that has been used before.”
Clinton addressed Putin and her knowledge of his world view at the event, as well.

Russia handled the Syria crisis far better than we did. Our current Secretary of State is as inept as the President.
Russia is developing its shale resources while manipulating the EU via its gas supply, maintaining if not growing its influence as the Middle East wanes with growing populations and dwindling oil supplies.
Russia has positioned itself as the stalwart bastion of traditional Christianity, such as opposing radical feminism and the homosexual movement. This makes them a sympathetic cultural ally with the more conservative developing world, especially in disputes against “The West”.
Right now, we’re on the decline and Russia is rising. It’s biggest problem remains demographics, from a barely replacement level fertility level now (which was far below it a decade ago) to a growing Muslim population (which they don’t kowtow to).
Putin is a better leader than Obama. Who’s the better dictator is open to debate.
Yeah. The difference is that she only does it when looking in the mirror.
She knows she’s going to come up short on the Pres run thing.
Putin actually likes the country he leads...as opposed to that piece of dog crap who figures it’s his duty to destroy the country he leads.
I think it’s his arrogance that pisses me off the most.

On Benghazi, I'm not comparing Hillary to Neville Chamberlain, I'm just saying she acted like Neville Chamberlain.
Yet another reminder that should Hillary! run in 2016, she could easily be beaten by a conservative, or even a Republican :-) that would be willing to MERCILESSLY BEAT HER UP over her MANY missteps and failures.
The big open question: will the conservative (or R) candidate have the will to win — the will to be as ruthless as she and her party are?
