MLK a Republican? Or Just a Dream?

Democrats insist that MLK wasn't a Republican. They want to claim, and take credit for, his dream, but not the blame for destroying that dream.

I do a facepalm every time I see this stuff. It was based on an erroneous article written several years ago that was swiftly debunked.

RE :”Refute it.”

MLK was definitely a big government, tell businesses what to do, Marxist type.

The ‘I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character’line was just an appeal by him to idiot white voters to pass laws that would screw their descendants for decades.

No one who matters in votes believes talk radio hosts when they claim this idiotic tripe that MLK was a conservative.

Pretty sure MLK Jr. was not a republican. An urban myth.

Think about it. . .

George Wallace— Democrat,
William Fullbright— Democrat,
KKK — all Dixiecrat Democrats,
Strom Thurmond— Democrat,
Orvul Faubus— Democrat,
Lyndon Baines Johnson— Democrat,
Every one of them opposed to civil rights for blacks.

On the other side Dwight D. Eisenhower, desegregated the military, was pushing for the Civil Rights act of 1957 with the active support of the majority of the Republicans of both houses, but the opposition of the majority of the DEMOCRATS in the House and the Senate lead by Lyndon Baines Johnson.

Now, if you were a smart black American in the South in 1950s America, which party would YOU be a member of?

Fieldmarshaldj has been refuting it for years. It’s amazing this crap keeps getting posted over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

As if we would even WANT that jerk to have been a Republican.

MLK supported and defended the Vietnamese Communist government, and he called American troops war criminals. His own personal Communist ties have been well documented.

He claimed that the U.S. was the greatest promoter of injustice in the world, and compared our involvement in Vietnam to Nazi Germany. He said that American was born in genocide and racial hatred, and he called for a revolution of democratic socialism. His words.

He was pro-social justice, pro-big labor, pro-affirmative action, and pro-reparations.

MLK was a leftist through and through.

Hey...hey...hey! The sainted, revered, and beloved Martin Luther King Junior was every bit as Republican as...David Duke. :)
