Then they haven’t found Jesus. I don’t see that as a problem, I mean, we’ve been told that was going to be the case, we should not be surprised.

Sounds to me like that’s what he’s saying. However, as poorly as Sam tested at the NFL combine, this may all be academic. He’ll probably be a low draft pick, and not be in the league three years from now.

They have supplanted Jesus with themselves. Jesus warned of this. Doesn’t matter how “big” their “church” is. That “church” is doomed.
A cornucopia of political incerrectness. Redskins, Christianity, and come to Jesus invitation for a gay. The only thing missing is a spotted owl pot pie.
Nicely phrased. All of us have weaknesses. For some, it is alcohol, for some, it is a desire to control the actions of others, and for some, it is an affinity for those of the same sex. For me, it is being too quick to anger. I have expressed that weakness here on FR, and have been wrong to do so. Like other weaknesses, the first necessary action is to admit the fault and then seek Christ’s help in overcoming it. Some weaknesses, like alcoholism, remain with a person all their earthly life. That doesn’t mean they should give in to those weaknesses. It just means their path is longer.
Its the behavior not the person. Love the sinner, hate the sin. Simple to say or write, hard to actually do.
I'd hope someone would want to help any sinner, all of us, it be a potential liar or potentially abusive person find Jesus. I guess the best way is to show one's following of Christ through one's demeanor and one's example.

Shouldn’t be too long before the NFL appoints its Human Rights Commission to help men like this quarterback repent, recant, and get their minds right. Maybe they could even hold their star chamber hearings on the field during half time.
The question too was asked hypothetically I would wager since it has been a hot topic, “How would you accept a gay teammate.”

Well, I guess you nailed it. My sentiments exactly. Liberals claim gays are the brave ones for coming out, while I say, anyone who expresses Christian ideas are the brave ones.
Kirk Cousins is expendable and will soon learn the price for speaking out. God please watch over him. Too bad RG3 didn’t say this - that would have been interesting.
