California students forfeit constitutional rights to Mexicans

Last week a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals panel affirmed the U.S. District Court’s granting of summary judgment in favor of Morgan Hill Unified School District, a civil rights suit brought by high school students who were asked to remove clothing bearing images of the American flag after school officials learned of threats of race-related violence during a school-sanctioned celebration of Cinco de Mayo.

What would be great would be a massive display of civil disobedience by the non-hispanic students. A Red White and Blue Day. It would be even better if people throughout the country did it. Fly the flag. Wear patriotic themed clothing. Celebrate America!

Every action like this causes a reaction. At minimum its going to make some of the young who were on the fence come over to the Constitutionalists’/patriot’s side.

On Cinco de Mayo, wear a shirt celebrating the French victory at Camerone. See if any of the ‘celebrants’ have any idea what it means.

Given the history of prior events on campus, the panel held it was reasonable for school officials to proceed as though the threat of a potentially violent disturbance was real.

There you have it. Threats of violence now trump the Constitution. The Muslims must love this.
