Hillary and The Cult of ‘Best and Brightest’: The vindication of Sarah Palin.

Two women: Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton. The first is relentlessly mocked and derided by liberals and the media. The second is still regarded as a paragon of wisdom, despite the fact that her much ballyhooed “reset” of relations with Russia was a total failure, that she misread Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as a "reformer," that she botched health care reform as first lady, and that she blamed her husband's troubles on a "vast right-wing conspiracy."

You forgot handing over Egypt to the Muslim Brotherhood and the eventual retaking of Egypt but with no interest in being allied in America after they screwed a 40 year ally.

I think Hillary is the reason Obama won in 2008.
People didn’t want the media’s pick.

Well at least you can sleep well knowing all their efforts went toward keeping Palin out of office and Barry and his RINO cheer squad in.

Because they are staunch rock ribbed conservatives.

The ruling elite and only the ruling elite pick and approve who the US president and the VP is going to be. Search Bohemian Club in Gernville CA. The members of that club approved Ronald Reagan on one condition, Reagan had to choose GH Bush as his VP. Had Reagan refused, he would never have been president.

I’ve seen no evidence over the last 30 years that the East Coast ivy league is capable of producing great leaders and thinkers.

This decay has somewhat mirrored the westward travel of high technology from Route 128 to California. Of course, the producers and wealth-makers can’t rely upon entrenched “old-boy” networks like the political class can - for a while, anyway.

Nah, I’m just mocking the ‘Staunch rock ribbed Freepers” who seem to have an incurable case of PDS. It’s sorta like Tourettes Syndrome in that every time they hear the word “Palin” or see it on FR. they break down into inappropriate vocalizations/typing and something like “Palin screeches” always comes out.

They need help but like an alky ditching a 12 step meeting, they don’t want to hear they have a problem.

So I mock them.

According to SNL, Sarah Palin was worse for mclame than vietnam.

In their fake news skit, they had his picture. Story: AZ reps censured mclame. Then showed a picture of vietnam, and asked, was this the worst for him? No, then showed a picture of SP. TURNED MY FRIGGIN STOMACH.

Yeah, Sarah Palin was worse for mclame than vietnam?

I think this country is doomed. Really. The illiterate electorate will remain after the present cancerous tumor is excised.

There were a couple more the other day doing the screeches routine. None of them can explain how anyone got elected before radio though. Few people ever saw or heard their candidates back then...just read their IDEAS. I mean if someone’s voice is the difference between voting for them or not, how shallow can one be?

It’s funny to me in a pathetic way. Trouble is, they do it without repercussion and then people wonder why the general public still thinks Palin is an idiot/whatever. Well perhaps the public can point to their ‘rock ribbed conservative’ neighbor who spreads leftist memes as one explanation for the problem. No they ABSOLUTELY can.

Hillary Clinton’s voice, when not carefully scripted and controlled, quickly rises to a screechy, hectoring nastiness that makes a man’s testicles recede up into his neck and makes most women taste aluminum.

I totally agree. And yet the shallow idiots consider the smartest woman in the world. While supposedly logical and clear thinking ‘conservatives’ dismiss Palin on a far less abrasive voice.

The stupid...it burns.

Doesn’t have to as long as they keep conservatives out of power. It just has to get the agenda met. The simple solution is to not listen to them.

I think the only way Sarah will ever have an position in D.C. is to get elected to congress or the presidency. Any republican who MIGHT win the white house in 2016 would not even invite her to secret celebration party.

Ah yes...the Legacy networks of somewhat inbred patricians living on their grand father’s reputations.

A free market of ideas is definitely a ruthless filter for shaking that tree, but as you said....if you get a sinecure over at CIA or State, you can cover a lot of feeble thoughts.

Too bad the wreckage that they leave in their wake is so appalling.

I’d give pretty much all I own to be there for that.

Better in Alaska though. In the dead of winter. Northern border. Then leave them there. Naked. No press, no pics. Just “GET TO DA CHOPPA!!” and leave them stranded.

Justice.

Hillary wasn't the media's pick in 2008 -- Obama most certainly was.

Initially, the media supported Hillary -- because she was seen as inevitable. But the moment Obama became a credible candidate, they changed horses inside a week -- raving about him and dumping on her.

It became apparent that they didn't like her then. And they probably still don't.

“....how shallow can one be?”

Whether truth or myth, it’s said that first televised presidential debate in 1960 debate between Nixon and Kennedy, was affected by the visual. Those who only listened said Nixon won; those who watched on TV said Kennedy won. JFK was young/youthful looking;Nixon was haggard looking/had a “5 o’clock shadow.” Turned the campaign toward JFK. Voters have been shallow for a long time now.

And as a result, we have the mess we have. No one thinks. They ‘Feel’.

I have no doubt at all it hosed that election. Lots of women fawned over Clinton. God knows why. He wasn’t much to see. Reagan was seen as Grandfatherly. Good for us but really, it wasn’t his looks nor Clinton that made them what they were for good or bad. It was their ideas. And people have to have a come to Jesus moment that those are what matter.

The deciding factor is the Ministry of Information. Not just 'news' programs. They even disseminate via entertainment programs like SNL.

“The illiterate electorate will remain after the present cancerous tumor is excised.”

It’s much worse than that.

They’re certainly literate, but think they’re brilliant the moment they move to the left and become believers in the idea that humans like Barack Obama can be elevated to the status of messiah.

That’s absolutely scary and dangerous.

IMHO

Your spelling is correct. Back in the 60’s Guerneville, Monte Rio and the Russian River was a fun place to hang out. It has since become a social satellite of SF, for what that's worth. To get to the Bohemian Grove you have to go through Monte Rio and head west on the road that's on the north side of the river. The last time I was there the area was still populated with leftover hippies.
