There is only ONE reason that the Ø regime considered “unilateral” action. And that would be to run-the-clock to the point at which the ship would reach a point where Israel would lose the opportunity for its “unilateral” action, at which point Ø’s “unilateral” action would go “poof”.

I think you’re right. There was a tone of embarrassment from the State Dept releases. If there was cooperation, why would State be talking about this at all. My suspicion is that Obama would be fine with a few long range missles in Gaza rather than irritating Iran. Worst thing that happens, a few dead Jews, not worth interrupting a conversation with a terror state.
