The Crimean Parliament delegation was well received in Moscow.

There can be no doubt about the outcome of the vote next week.

But the West will denounce it and holler at Russia in the face until its blue.

It will have no effect on Crimea’s becoming part of Russia which is all but a de facto fact of life. All the vote would do is make it de jure.

Ukraine and Europe better start accepting it. Otherwise, their gas prices are going to go through the roof. And so will ours.

The question is, will we all rise up and protest if we get involved militarily?
