God bless this young hero. Sorry he can’t put it off until after the next presidential election.
Says he medically retired a Corporal (E4). He’s wearing Lance Corporal (E3). This pic must have been before his promotion...................
But Sgt. Peltra is ignored for doing the same thing....
Yes, it had to be, it’s a pic I found googling.
Sounds like both of them are awful lucky to have survived it.
USS Carpenter has a nice ring to it.
It sure does and believe it will happen.
So justly deserved for this brave hero. Sad that he has to receive this honor from mac daddy who has NO HONOR.
courage or commitment either. Well, he was courageous riding that bike in mom jeans and that snazzy helmet.
Well, sorry to be the naysayer here, but if there’s no solid proof he jumped on that grenade, he shouldn’t get the Medal of Honor. Give him a Navy Cross, the Purple Heart, and so on. Let me say he is a far better man than I. But we shouldn’t risk watering down the Medal of Honor, even one little bit.
I suppose this idiot does not know how stupid it looks with these even more embarrassing photo-ops that prove nothing to anyone and that nobody gives a sh** about anyway.
What a giant loser and liar, such and embarrassment to the USA and a laughing stock to the world.
“nation’s highest combat valor honor”
Actually, it is the nation’s highest honor.
I stand in awe of such men.
I guess when your ego is that big, you can’t see the beach for the sand.
