I guess the take away here is to never go anywhere that one cannot be fully armed.

This “knockout game” is pre-planned, first degree murder, and should be punished as such.

Oh! A double ‘hate’ crime!
Black assault on white, plus the victim had just left the Swtheet and Vithious bar.

If these were white on black, within the first inkling that this was a national activity, or even more than a coincidence, the entire government and media would have gone into action... You're right ansel.
Also these types of attacks have been going on for years. The press, FBI and police weren't able to hide them once the perps started downloading beatings on YouTube for bragging rights.

Look - it’s not his fault - it’s the fault of the thugs who beat him. What’s next? White people can’t leave their homes after dark?
This is wrong - don’t blame the victim.

I was merely pointing out that one should have the good sense to not expose himself to danger. Here, the guy is out drinking at two o’clock in the morning in a downtown area. What would you expect could happen under those circumstances?
And I’m not putting the major blame on the victim, merely pointing out that one shouldn’t set yourself up for an attack and here he plainly did.

Warning people to stay out of black neighborhoods is considered racist by the NAACP. You know that, right?
The NAACP fought a move by a map company some years back that wanted to highlight black 'communities'...to safeguard tourists who might accidentally get off the "wrong" interstate exit.. That said I sadly agree with you. It's dangerous for people of all OTHER races to be in black communities at night.
I also regret having to feel this way - as it feels racist. But it's also the truth.
