Graduated med school in 2003, completed residency in 2006. By nominating him, the president is again sticking a thumb in the eye of nearly every physician in the country by insinuating years of experience and medical practice arent worth nearly as much as the correct ideology and a harvard degree.
More experienced than his would-be boss for the position, but by no means qualified or sufficiently experienced to lead a branch of the uniformed services or manage public health policy for the nation.
Even ignoring the fact that we are supposed to be a constitutional republic and not a monarchy, this nominee is totally unqualified for the job if he bases policy on his feelings about scary guns instead of on science. Exactly how many physicians, when treating a gunshot victim, ask “so, did the weapon used have a pistol grip, a folding or telescoping stock, a flash suppressor or threaded barrel, a bayonet mount, or a muzzle-mounted grenade launcher?” Those “Assault Weapon” features are as irrelevant medically as they are tactically, and this fraud’s interest in them proves that he has no interest in either science or the Constitution.

I went to the doctor the other day (Group Health Cooperative, Seattle) and was given a form to fill out concerning various medical issues - drinking and smoking habits, recreational drug use, diet, evidence of depression, etc. One question jumped out, and it was something like, “Do you or your family or close friends own guns, and if so, are they stored and maintained safely?” I answered “Don’t know,” and I think I had to write that in, I don’t think it was a given option.”

Why is every one of this clown’s appointees controversial? It is becoming apparent that Obama is deliberately picking people he knows are objectionable to conservatives. Why can’t he pick one, just one, who is acceptable to both sides? Look back! Every person he has nominated to office, without exception, is tainted in some way.
